Boost gives away free gas in Hawaii

The craziest part:

The promotion comes on a day when gas prices hit an all-time high nationally.
I’m not sure what the prices are like out in Hawaii, but the more I think about this, the more generous it seems. I can’t even fathom Boost’s bill from this.
“I live in Salt Lake and I haven’t my tank filled for a loooong time,” said Jessica Ortega, a University of Hawai’i student driving a large Chevrolet SUV. “It costs $80 or $90 at least to fill it up. When I heard about this I left at about 5 a.m. and got in line at at about 5:20, so it wasn’t that bad.”
The Boost Unlimited service was launched in Hawaii about two weeks ago, and runs $35 per month for — yes — unlimited calling from your home area. When you leave the area, calls are 15 cents per minute. [Honolulu Advetiser]]]>
