Cricket Offering 99 Cent SIMs

AT&T has launched a new sale for its prepaid brand Cricket Wireless. No doubt to help encourage CDMA customers to migrate before the network shutdown as well as compete with T-Mobile’s $1 SIM sale, Cricket has slashed the prices of its SIM cards from $10 to $1. This sale is expected to continue through the month of April. Unlike T-Mobile’s SIM sales, there isn’t a listed limit as to how many SIM cards customers can purchase. However, SIM cards do eventually expire so you won’t want to go crazy overboard. It is worth noting that even though you can get the SIM for $1, there is still a $25 activation fee through Cricket for all GSM phones. Phones must be unlocked in order to be brought to Cricket’s network. Still, $26 isn’t much to jump ship and try out AT&T’s most popular prepaid brand. You can check your phone’s eligibility and purchase a SIM card here. Cricket Wireless offers several wireless plans ranging from $40 to $60, and the company will knock $5 off the price if customer sign up for autopay services to automatically renew. You can check out the full list of plans on Cricket’s Website. ]]>
