This company is just way too expensive. No matter what I did, I had extra charges at the end of the month. Skip Venture and go with Verizon's prepaid wireless service instead. Save yourself some money.

I stuck with them for 5 months and yes they always charge extra even for text messages they send you reminding you to pay and even if you don't open them. Of course text messages don't come with your regular service so you have to buy an extra cash card to cover these. They also average your usage and then deduct that amount from your minutes for a few days until they update their records, again making you buy cash cards when you haven't even used the minutes. I gave then a couple of stars because the verizon service is excellent and when I call I can always get a customer service person even if they can't do much as they work for a company with crappy policies. Probably best to just go with verizon in the end you'll be paying less.

Why doesn't lucky wireless make an attempt to offer mobile web and ringtones. It would increase their business and make satisfied customers but, they also have a weird way of cutting off the service and not letting you buy a new plan until you billing cycle date starts again. Verizon easy pay made more sense when it was still around. You have to add cash cards instead of starting a new plan once you use that one up at a whopping rate of 29 cents a minute. They also calling their new unlimited4u plan unlimited when it is 2000 day time minutes and 3000 night time minutes for 109.99 a month. Yeah it's a lot of minutes but, nowhere near unlimited. Page Plus has a worry free unlimited plan at $2.49 a day which is about 77.50 with no credit check as well and it operates off of Verizon towers too. "Awesome plan"!!!! and page plus is coming out with a text and data package here shortly. Way to go Page Plus Cellular. Page Plus makes more money and is larger than Lucky Wireless because they give true value to the customer at reasonable rates with plans that make sense to the common customer. If you want to talk smart and talk more or really unlimited sign up for page plus.

Lucky Wireless is a fraudulent supposed mvno that is giving Verizon Wireless and even Sprint Pcs a very bad name by using their communication cell towers. Can the FTC and maybe even the FBI please investigate these people? I understand that Benett Alpert is the I guess pretend CEO. Their service has been down for several days causing cutomers who made their payments still not to have service. Is this another Rokkit talk who is not going to refund the money once they have already stolen it or just a puny shadow of the now defunct Amp'd mobile who went out of business without notifying it's customers? It's time companies like these are not allowed to operate in the US. They are definitely a fly by night pseudo mvno out to make a quick buck. I think Page Plus is in financial trouble just like Lucky Wireless. They have sold off their southern region to master agents causing everyone to go through these master agents in the south only rather than having the freedom to replenish nationally but, back to Unlucky Wireless. Anyone who has the misfortune of subscribing to or crossing paths with Unlucky Wireless can expect to have service suspended and pay outrageous overage charges on what they call a cash card that you always end up purchasing besides having to pay for your regular monthly plan. They won't let you purchase another plan before your billing cycle date coercing you to pay sometimes hundreds of dollars extra time before they let you pay for your next month. This is a tremendously scary service which is managed by purposely rude customer service agents and dealer staff to try intimidate you from recouping your money once they think they can rip you off. The customer support and dealer support know absolutely nothing about the service they are selling. This is without fail on purpose. I had to give Unlucky Wireless one star because I didn't have the option of a beware symbol. God please deliver us from mobile virtual network operators like Page Putz and Unlucky Wireless because Americans work too hard for their money to have these predators pry it from their work worn hands. Response to the women who was charged on your credit card and not Unlucky Wireless's customer "good luck but, please don't give up."
