Wind Mobile Launches New Mobile Internet Device
May 11, 2015/
Canadian wireless provider Wind Mobile is far from the largest carrier, but over the years has certainly made a name for itself. The company offers no-commitment wireless and mobile internet plans and devices that are priced reasonably and have a far better ‘unlimited’ policy than a lot of North American carriers. Wind, however, doesn’t have all that much in the way of new device offerings, especially where mobile internet is concerned. Well, last week the carrier added a new device to the lineup and it might be worth a look if you’re in the market.
The compellingly-named WINDspeed E8372 offers both storage and hotspot capabilities all wrapped up in one sleep white package. This Huawei device is capable of sharing data with up to 10 devices at a time. As a storage unit, the device features a microSD card slot that can take up to an additional 32 GB of files, photos, music or whatever else you want to store. The device is compatible with most PCs and with Macs running Mac OS 10.7 or later.
The WINDspeed E8372 is only available in stores and can be used with any of Wind Mobile’s mobile device plans which are priced as follows:
- $15 – 1 GB
- $25 – 3 GB
- $35 – Unlimited (fair usage states that after 10 GB/month speeds will be slowed til the end of the cycle)
