Ultra Mobile Ups Data, Adds New Countries

Ultra Mobile, the T-Mobile MVNO that focuses heavily on international calling, has announced several changes to its plan lineup. Several of Ultra Mobile’s plans received an upgrade including increased minutes, more data or additional countries available for international calling. Here are the changes:
  • All International plans ranging $29 and up gained 26 countries and three territories as part of the included International Talk Bundle. Countries added include Austria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Brazil, Costa Rica, Germany, Iceland, Israel, Japan, Panama, South Africa, Spain and more. See a full list here.
  • $34 Data Plus Plan now includes unlimited nationwide talk (was 1,000 minutes)
  • $44 Data Plus plan data was increased from 2.5 GB to 4 GB
  • Hong Kong destination was added to unlimited international calling on the $19, $34 and $44 plans
With the additional international locations, Ultra Mobile customers can now call a total of 59 locations as part of the various plans. However, for additional countries, there are tons of other add-ons available for per-minute calls. International text is included with all plans. Because we don’t really talk about Ultra Mobile all that much, I’m also going to include a list of plans for reference. All plans include unlimited nationwide talk and unlimited national and international texts. Here is a breakdown of the rest of the services by plan:
  • $19 International Plan – 100 MB high speed data, $1.25 Call Anywhere Credit
  • $29 International Plan – 1 GB high speed data, 1,000 international minutes, $2.50 Call Anywhere Credit
  • $34 Data Plus Plan – 2 GB high speed data, unlimited international calling to 11 locations
  • $39 International Plan – 750 MB high speed data, unlimited low speed data, 1,000 international minutes, $5 Call Anywhere Credit
  • $44 Data Plus Plan – 4 GB high speed data,  unlimited international calling to 11 locations
  • $49 International Plan – 1 GB high speed data, unlimited low speed data, 1,000 international minutes, $10 Call Anywhere Credit
  • $59 International Plan – 2.5 GB high speed data, unlimited low speed data, 1,000 international minutes, $5 Cal Anywhere Credit
