MetroPCS Offers Free Phones and Bonus Data

MetroPCS, an MVNO owned and operating under T-Mobile, is currently running a promotion— in stores only— which allows new and old customers to receive a free phone and for customers to get additional data for free.

Additionally, only in stores, customers who will be using the $50 plan— which usually comes with unlimited talk, text, and 5 GB of data— will receive an additional 3 GB’s for free. While it isn’t specified how long this bonus data will be available, MetroPCS boasts on its website that it adds up to 36 free GB’s for the year. The promotional data is also available for MetroPCS’s family plans, and each additional line would be $30. So you can get one line for $50, two for $80, etc, all the way up to 5 lines. MetroPCS runs on T-Mobile’s network and allows unlocked GSM devices to be brought in for activation.
