Airlink Mobile adds flat-rate, unlimited calling plan

Airlinks offerings to this point included pay-as-you-go top-ups starting at $10 for 30 minutes, and going up to $75 for 750 minutes. Nights and weekends are free as long as your account balance is positive. The downside is that minutes expire in 30 days, so unless you’re a big talker, you’re not going to be getting that optimal 10 cents per minute rate. Additionally, text messages cost you one anytime minute per message sent or received, meaning you can rack up a huge texting bill if you’re not careful. The company hasn’t yet added the Power Unlimited plan to their rates page, nor do they cover it in their news section. This makes us wonder if Sprint is standing in the way at the moment. Probably not, but it certainly is odd that they’d circulate a press release for a product that doesn’t exist on their website. The Powerlink Unlimited plan will start at $60 per month. We’re not sure if more expensive rate plans will include more features, or if they’ll simply cover different areas. There is no word on the inclusion of text messaging in the unlimited plans.
