An incredibly practical use for your camera phone
A joke among me and my friends back in the day, when we parked, was “Rememer, we’re parked in the Itchy lot.” This ambiguous Simpsons reference worked fine for malls. Just remember what store you came in at and it’s usually cinch to find your car. But then we started going to sporting events, concerts, and taking flights. Yeah, it’s not exactly the same experience. And if you forget what lot you’re in at the airport, you have a long day of searching ahead of you. The solution: take a picture of the nearest marker. Yeah. It’s that simple. Hell, it can even come in handy at the mall during Christmas, when you might have to park on the outskirts of civilization. Most people don’t notice them, but every mall we’ve ever been to has some sort of parking signage. I actually discussed this with my sister, who lives in New York City. She has a car because she comes home to visit family and friends in Jersey frequently. Of course, given the exorbitant parking rates in the city, she parks on the street. How does she remember where she parked? She takes a picture of the street sign at the nearest intersection. Brilliant, huh?]]>
