Just in time for the gift-giving season, Boost Mobile has announced that the Boost Mobile Wallet will now support the purchase of eGift Cards right from your cell phone. Here are some of the companies that you can purchase eGift Cards from:
- Amazon
- Babies R Us
- Bass Pro Shops
- JCPenny
- AMC
- Papa John’s
- GameStop
- Xbox
- Footlocker
This isn’t a full list, and retailers are still being added to the service. Unlike other Boost Mobile Wallet transactions, there is no purchase fee, and you can send the eGift Card to the recipient of your choice instantly along with a personal note.
To start purchasing eGift Cards, you have to download the Boost Mobile Wallet app and set up an account. Other features of the Boost Mobile Wallet include the ability to pay bills, top up your account, send money and more. The service is free, but there are fees for certain transactions. A Plus account is available, which adds additional features like Quick Check and account transfers as well as a reloadable Visa card. Plus accounts have a subscription fee.
