Alltel

Alltel was a prominent wireless service provider in the United States, particularly known for serving rural and small-town markets. At its peak, Alltel was one of the largest regional carriers in the country, offering a wide range of wireless services, including voice, messaging, and data. The company was recognized for its customer service and extensive coverage in areas often underserved by other major carriers. In 2008, Alltel was acquired by Verizon Wireless, and its assets were integrated into Verizon’s network, although some parts were sold to AT&T to comply with regulatory requirements. This is Prepaid Reviews’ historic archive coverage of the carrier.
