PlatinumTel, also known as Ptel, was a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) that operated in the United States. Launched in 2001, it offered affordable prepaid wireless services with a focus on no-contract plans and low-cost international calling. PlatinumTel gained a niche following for its competitive rates and flexible payment options.
