Click for larger Late yesterday afternoon on its Facebook page Virgin Mobile announced the Samsung Intercept, the carrier’s first Android handset. We heard rumblings about the Intercept earlier this month, and the signs kept getting stronger. We still don’t know when it will hit Virgin or what it will cost, but we have been assured that it will be available sometime soon. The device has an 800MHz processor, so it’s relatively powerful but not top-of-the-line. It also contains 8GB of internal memory and, of course, access to the Android market. Other features include a 3.2 inch touchscreen, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, and a 3.2 MP camera. ]]>
