GoPhone Adds New Alcatel Phone

AT&T’s prepaid brand GoPhone has announced the expansion of their prepaid phone lineup with the new Alcatel Onetouch C1 smartphone. They currently only sell two Alcatel phones, neither of which is a smartphone. This new addition to their lineup will add a low-cost, lightweight, compact touchscreen smartphone to their relatively small smartphone lineup. The Alcatel Onetouch C1 is expected to retail for $60. This small lightweight smartphone offers an entry-level experience backed by AT&T’s excellent prepaid network and will be excellent for customers looking to upgrade from feature phones. Alcatel is known for making affordable entry-level devices and, while their phones are generally not jam-packed with features like some flagship phones, Alcatel phones tend to be pretty durable and stylish without breaking the bank. Here are the specs for the phone:
• Android 4.2
• 3.5 inch screen
• 2 MP camera with 4x zoom
• 1400 mAh battery (7 hour talk time)
• 512 MB RAM
• 4 GB storage
• microSD slot
• 1.0 GHz dual-core processor
AT&T’s GoPhone brand is available in retail stores nationwide and provides some good low-cost options for consumers looking to lessen their monthly bill while still staying in touch with friends and family. Also, AT&T’s prepaid network is probably one of the better networks, covering more areas than most competitors. To check out GoPhone’s service and phone options, visit their website.]]>
