GoPhone Adds Lumia 640 to Lineup
July 28, 2015/
AT&T’s GoPhone recently added a new phone to its lineup. The Lumia 640 is one of the more popular Lumia devices and has been available on AT&T’s other prepaid brand, Cricket, for a couple of months already. However, late is better than never, and the GoPhone makes up for it by offering the same device for $10 less than Cricket.
The Lumia 640 has mid-range specs and while it’s not a flagship by any means, it certainly will function well for most basic and even medium users. The phone features a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and 1 GB of RAM along with 8 GB of memory and a micro SD slot. The phone has an 8 MP back camera and a small front camera as well as a removable battery.
While this version of the Lumia 640 will ship with Windows 8, it will qualify for a free update to Windows 10 whenever that becomes available in the coming weeks.
The Lumia 640 is available from the AT&T GoPhone website right now and retails for $79.99. The phone, as mentioned before, is already available on Cricket and can also be found at other companies like MetroPCS.]]>
