Bell introducing two new features
February 5, 2008/
“By combining three of our most sought-after services, including home phone, wireless and Internet, Bell is making it easier and more efficient for our clients to stay connected with family, friends and colleagues,” said Kevin Crull, President, Bell Residential Services. “These new services further our commitment to delivering the Bell Better Home, offering our clients the ultimate in reliability, simplicity and accessibility.”Online Voice Mail allows you to log into a website and hear audio files of your voicemail. You can also get notification of new messages on your home Bell phone on your Bell mobile phone. You can even send voicemails to any email address. The service is available for $3 per month. Text to Landline is a neat idea. You just tap in your message and hit send. The service then calls the landline and delivers an audio conversion of the text. And then the texter gets a message back noting whether a live person of voicemail picked up the call. People answering the phone to these messages will have an option to send a voice message back. This service is free, though regular text messaging rates apply. Hopefully we services like this become more widespread in the near future. [Trading Markets]]]>
