Several different Canadian wireless companies
have confirmed that the Blackberry Classic will be coming “soon” to Canadians everywhere. Rogers, Bell, Virgin Mobile and SaskTel all three have given the green light.
The BlackBerry Classic will likely be around the $500 mark without a contract and has some
pretty good specs:
- 3.5 inch touchscreen display
- BlackBerry 10.3.1 OS
- 1.5 GHz dual core processor
- 8 MP back camera, 2 MP front camera
- 2 GB RAM
- 16 – 32 GB memory
- microSD slot
- LTE band compatibility
Unlike many other everyday phones, the BlackBerry brand is all about helping get business done and recently has had something of a revival of interest with the BlackBerry Classic and the unique BlackBerry Passport, a square phone.
