Chatr Wireless Plan Overview
October 26, 2014/
So, as it turns out we are dismally behind in the Canadian wireless news, for which we wholeheartedly apologize. You might recall that Chatr was having some problems with launching a few years ago, but as it turns out they managed just fine. I’m not going to go into much more detail because it was several years ago. But, to make up for lagging on news in this area, we’ll go over some of the plan details of the successfully launched Chatr Wireless today.
First off, all of the plans have two parts to them, depending on whether you are in the “Chatr zone” or the “no worries network.” While in the “no worries network” which shows up as the purple areas on this coverage map, consumers will pay $0.25/minute for outgoing calls and texts. In the orange areas, you will have unlimited calling to local, province or the whole country, depending on your plan. All plans and zones include free incoming calls and texts.
So here’s the breakdown of the actual plans:
- $20 – Unlimited calls to local zone, 50 texts
- $25 – Unlimited calls to anywhere in your province, 50 texts
- $35 – Unlimited calls anywhere in Canada, unlimited text, free voicemail retrieval
- $40 – Unlimited calls anywhere in Canada, Unlimited text, unlimited international text, free voicemail retrieval
- $45 – Unlimited calls anywhere in Canada, unlimited text, 200 MB of data, free voicemail retrieval
- $50 – Unlimited calls anywhere in Canada, Unlimited text, Unlimited international text, 200 MB data, free voicemail retrieval
