Lumia 535 Now Available in Canada

Microsoft-Lumia-535

I’m not really sure why this is the case, but it seems like some devices just take forever to reach other countries. Especially if you’re talking non-flagship or prepaid devices. This seems to be the case with Microsoft, who only recently released the Lumia 535 in Canada. Originally launched in November, the Lumia 535 is the first phone Microsoft debuted without the “Nokia” label and follows the company’s 5x5x5 smartphone strategy, boasting five built-in software experiences (Skype, OneDrive, Office Mobile, OneNote and Cortana), 5 MP cameras and a 5 inch screen. The device was pretty well received but has rather mid-level specs:
  • Windows 8.1
  • 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 200 processor
  • 5 MP front and back cameras
  • 1 GB RAM
  • 8 GB memory
  • microSD slot (up to 128 GB)
The Lumia 535 can be purchased now from the Microsoft store for $179 and will be completely unlocked and ready to use on just about any carrier. Be sure to check with your company to make sure that it will work, however.]]>
