Cricket announced a set of international calling plans that will benefit both their customers and their friends and families abroad. For $5 per month customers can get a local number in Mexico, which people in Mexico to call them at a local, rather than an international, rate. For $10 customers can add local numbers at 40 other countries around the globe. In addition, Cricket announced two international calling plans. Details after the jump. Both of the international plans include Cricket’s standard unlimited services, including voice, messaging, and mobile web. The $55 plan includes 500 minutes to Mexican landlines 30 minutes to Mexican mobile numbers. The plan also includes the above-mentioned local Mexico number for the Cricket customer. The $65 plan adds the global local number. The 500 landline and 30 mobile minutes can be used for any qualified international numbers.
