There were no specifics on exactly how far they expanded service, but if they’re adding seven stores, it must be significant enough. Either that, or they’ve been getting complaints from commuters about dropped coverage, and think that this small fix will be enough to bolster their business. In any event, we love to see the expansion. We also love to see merger talks. According to TeleGeography, the Wall Street Journal is reporting that a Metro-Leap merger could still be in the cards after the 700 MHz auction.
