Leap adds 493,000 subscribers in Q1

Leap Wireless. No on expected them to do as well as rival MetroPCS — Leap didn’t, after all, begin offering service in two of the nation’s largest markets. Even so, Leap did fine in their own right, adding 493,000 subscribers, which more than doubled their net adds from the same quarter 2008.
