Leap misses expectations in second quarter
August 4, 2011/
MetroPCS fell short of analyst expectations and its stock took a hit as a result. Now word comes down from competitor Cricket. Their bar was set lower, at just 38,000 subscribers, but they still fell below it. Cricket added 29,000 subscribers in the second quarter, though revenues actually rose and churn dropped.
