MetroPCS goes berserk with Q3 subscriber additions
November 5, 2010/
MetroPCS is busy adding, adding, adding. The company attracted 223,000 net subscribers to its service in the third quarter, which more than tripled subscribed additions from the same period last year. That boosts the total subscriber base to 7.9 million, making it the nation’s sixth largest carrier — and the fifth largest primary carrier. The key was not just attracting new customers but retaining old ones. MetroPCS cut churn to 3.8 percent, down two points from a year ago. ]]>
