MetroPCS loses 186,000 subscribers in Q2
July 26, 2012/
MetroPCS lost 186,000 subscribers in the second quarter, but apparently that isn’t quite bad news. Analysts expected them to lose about that many, so it wasn’t a point of contention on their quarterly report. MetroPCS’s stock price actually went up, because their earnings, despite the lost customers, beat expectations. That’s the name of the game, I guess. In any case, the subscriber loss was a huge swing from the second quarter last year, when Metro added nearly 200,000 subscribers. Via Bloomberg.]]>
