The popularity of tablets might seem like it’s waning, but MetroPCS and T-Mobile are attempting to rekindle the fire with an affordable new tablet and three new data plans designed specifically for tablets. Launched on Friday, the Alcatel OneTouch Pop 7 is available for $150 in stores only and will work as a wonderful entry into the world of small tablets.
Tablet Details
The Alcatel Onetouch Pop 7 has been available for T-Mobile postpaid customers for a couple months and boasts pretty standard low-end features for a tablet. Here are the specs I found:- Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean)

Here are the undiscounted options:- $15/month – unlimited low speed first 1 GB high speed
- $25/month – unlimited low speed data; first 3 GB high speed
- $35/month – unlimited low speed data; first 5 GB high speed
