MetroPCS offers voicemail transcription
MetroPCS feels your pain. They’ve introduce a voicemail transcription service that will send all of your voicemails straight to your SMS or email inbox. The service is powered by Yap, which works with a number of other carriers, including Sprint, on similar voicemail-to-text platforms. If you choose to receive the transcription via email, Yap will include an audio file attachment, just in case you want to review it later on. Otherwise it’s all text. There can be issues with this, of course, so the audio file attachment can be key. There’s nothing worse than having someone mumble while leaving their phone number. The service costs $3 per month on top of any MetroPCS unlimited calling plan. You can register for the service at MetroPCS’s website.]]>
