MetroPCS officially launches nation's first LTE network

We knew it would be coming in September, so with the days dwindling it had to come soon. This morning we finally got the announcement. Via Phone Scoop, MetroPCS has officially rolled out the nation’s first commercial LTE network. It is up and running in Las Vegas, and should be available in other markets soon. These include Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Detroit, Florida, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, Sacramento, and San Francisco. Along with the LTE network comes the first LTE-enabled handset, the Samsung Craft. It will cost $299 after $50 instant rebate. It is available at MetroPCS’s website.]]>
