MetroPCS rolls out service in Grand Rapids, MI
May 7, 2009/
MetroPCS. They’ve launched a market in Grand Rapids, Michigan to go along with their other in-state coverage areas. These include Detroit, Flint, Lansing, Saginaw, Bay City, and Midland, giving Metro a sizable part of the state. The Grand Rapids market will also include Muskegon and Holland. This expansion is integral for Metro’s growth. Part of the reason they’ve adding so many subscribers lately is because they’ve expanded to new markets. They’re not yet a nationwide service, though there probably aren’t many more regions where they have spectrum available. Once these markets settle in Metro won’t experience the rapid growth they’ve seen lately, so featuring themselves in more places is a huge factor going forward.
“The Grand Rapids launch marks the continuation of MetroPCS’ expansion across Michigan, creating a more extensive coverage area and convenient corporate stores and dealer locations,” said Glen Flowers, vice president and general manager, MetroPCS Michigan. “With the current state of the economy, consumers are looking for the most value for their money, and this expansion brings a cost-effective product to cost-conscious consumers while providing exceptional customer service.”Potential customers in Michigan can check out more on Metro’s service at Metro’s website.]]>
