What good is unlimited messaging if you don’t have a full QWERTY keyboard? Such was the issue for MetroPCS. It’s a great idea for service, but eventually you’re going to need the hardware in order to compete. So they’ve introduced the Samsung R410, a slider that features the full keyboard that kids nowadays are craving.
Of course, it’s not all upside. The onboard camera is merely a VGA, and the data doesn’t take advantage of the EVDO network. That’s not a huge problem for Metro subscribers, though, as they don’t have the full gamut of data options.
The phone is going to cost you between $150 and $200. It’s not up on the Metro website yet, and we have no set release date.
The best plan for this: the $50 dealy that gets you unlimited voice, text, AIM, and Mobile Web. Not bad for unlimited.

I love the new look of the samsung 410. i have purchased ever last samsung phone that metro has and i think i’ve found the phone i have been searching for. So when will Metro PCS release the new samsung is the question,so i ca go buy it!
This is a cute phone but the battery life sucks! Cant leave home without that charger or else.
I just got the R410 and so far, I love it! I’m loving the keyboard and how functional the web actually is on teh phone…also, the larger screen is a plus. It didn’t take me long to figure out how to use the keypad either, and with so many buttons on it, I thought it would. The Samsung R410 is an all around attractive, useful phone.
On the downside, I’m disappointed that I can’t take video’s with it, which I assumed it came with but, with all it’s other features, I’ll get over it.

this fone was great except for wen i dropped it a couple of times and it started to change my things blue and have an all white screen. then it was also bad wen i got it broke in may.fortunely i will be gettin the newest samsung soon i hope it looks like its a bigger fone with more and better features
This phone has a serious defect. once the memory gets filled up the phone is no good. even if you delete it, it stays on the phones memory so you are stuck with a phone that will not download or upload anything. Dont buy this phone you will regret it
