Solavei's First Post-Bankruptcy Change
October 30, 2014/
Solavei, a company that works by paying members to recruit friends and family has finally come out of the closet, so to speak, and released a new compensation program for their ‘Brand Partners.’ This will be the second such change to their policies for paying members who refer friends, and the first confirmed change since declaring Chapter 11 bankruptcy earlier this year.
Shortly after declaring that they were unable to pay all of their debts and declaring bankruptcy, Solavei announced they would stay open for business and then went off the radar. I couldn’t find a single scrap of information about what they were doing–no legalese to sift through, no announced changes or updated programs for months on end. Earlier this month, they released an overly-cheerful press release stating that “Solavei Member Benefits Total Over $120 Million at 2 Year Anniversary.” The release talks about all the money company members have saved and is basically a pointless promotional article. Stuffed towards the end you’ll find one sentence nodding to the slight financial difficulty. It reads:
“The company is also completing a reorganization to strengthen its core business.”And that was it. So, seeing signs of life from the company via this press release, I decided to reach out to see if I could get an update on what was going on. It took me two days of calling, emailing and finally posting to their Facebook wall (which turns out to be the only real way to get someone who can answer media questions) before getting a response. The representative eventually told me that the above sentence was the only thing they could release to the public, but that they had restructured their compensation plan earlier in October and released it to members. Here is the link to download the PDF they sent me detailing in beautiful PR style how great the changes are. I’m not going to go through all of it with you–the document is lengthy and goes through some pretty complex-looking steps and hoops that members have to complete in order to actually make any money through Solavei. But, if you are interested, by all means peruse at your leisure. It is, at least, mildly encouraging to see that the company isn’t as completely destitute and defunct as their lack of communication over the last few months made it seem. Who knows, they might even pull through and become a legit company to use (although they still look pretty shady to me). Do you know anyone who uses Solavei? What did they think? Let me know in the comments!]]>

Not sure the purpose of this blog post? What seems shady?
Comparing this company to others; I have found that finding any information is way more difficult than it should be. I mean, it is all there but you have to really look and know what you are looking for. It just seems like a not very honest way to conduct business.
As a firefighter on a limited budget, Solavei has been a blessing to our family providing us with Free Service for my wife and I for over 2 years now. We have also helped many other people get free service and for those who want to earn extra money. Changes are inevitable for any new company…it’s all about perspective in the midst of the change or adversity and sticking to the vision…just ask Ronald Wayne.
Well lets get an inside scoop. The basic truth is Solavei has become a network marketing company, something people were proud to say it wasn’t as a new way of earning an income.
ive been with them since october 2012, so ive seen all the stages this company has taken and have seen it pay out, i just wished the plan they just unvailed would have been the initial way of marketin plan. its a great company it just needs ppl behind the idea of unlimited phone service for free! http://www.solavei.com/henryayala/
