Touch Mobile Launches in Fry’s Electronics Stores
Touch Mobile, the rather unusual little MVNO that launched in September is clearly moving up in the world. On Thursday, Touch Mobile announced that they now offer their services and products in select Fry’s Electronics stores nationwide. They have already launched as of today, and have debuted a couple of holiday promotions to celebrate their expanded retail presence.
Now through December 26, you can purchase the Samsung Galaxy Victory for $50 (normally priced around $120) or the Samsung Galaxy S3 for $150 (normally round $215). Both deals should be available online or in Fry’s Electronics retails stores nationwide.
Touch Mobile has a rather unusual data/network hybrid system kind of similar to Republic Wireless. All of their plans are packaged to use data for voice, text and browsing the internet, and their plans range from $20 – $50. There is a cheaper wifi-only plan in the works, but official details haven’t been announced yet. Touch Mobile uses Sprint’s nationwide network and is owned by TextNow.
