Simple Mobile Truly Unlimited Promo Plan

T-Mobile MVNO Simple Mobile has debuted a new plan this week along with a host of changes to its current plan lineup. Called the Truly Unlimited plan, this monthly promotional plan will only be around for a few months and looks like a pretty sweet deal for heavy users. Like every other plan, the promotional $60 plan includes unlimited talk and text (both national and international). But, unlike other plans, this one is advertised as also offering “unlimited 4G LTE data.” Of course, we all know that unlimited doesn’t really mean unlimited, but T-Mobile MVNOs have been known to push the unlimited moniker a little further than most so this could potentially be a pretty sweet deal. In order to get this monthly plan, however, customers must sign up for Simple Mobile’s Auto ReUp service, which automatically renews the monthly plan for customers on the selected date and will require a credit or debit card on file to be charged at the specific time. Customers must remain enrolled in the Auto ReUp service to stay on the plan. The Truly Unlimited plan expires “90 days” from the date of publication, which comes to November 12, 2015 or thereabouts. I would assume that customers who continue to meet the criteria after the promotion ends will be grandfathered, but there isn’t anything actually explicitly saying that on Simple Mobile’s site. Simple Mobile has a range of plans starting at around $25 with varying amounts of data and international calling options. Customers can activate their own unlocked GSM device or purchase one through Simple Mobile. For more information, visit Simple Mobile’s website.]]>

Can anybody share an opinion? Is it truly unlimited?
