These people really suck, they are very poorly trained, they make you wait forever on the phone to be transfered to someone who can barely speak English, and they almost always get it wrong. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

I would like to comment on a review I just read from Elle in VA. I have been a Net10 user for 11 months. I never had any problems, until today. I am a mother of 2 & I work 2 jobs. I need every penny I bring home, so that I may keep my bils paid and food on the table. I am NOT on welfare & I DO NOT receive any kind of aid while keeping my children fed & clothed. I am NOT retarded & I DO NOT have any problems keeping and sticking to my household budgets. However, when I spend my HARD EARNED money on a phone service that promises that it is there to serve the little people, who can't afford the larger companies, I expect them to back that up. Elle, you stated that you have ‘reluctantly' gone back to ATT, but think about this. When you hit SEND to contact 911 or to check on a loved one, does the call go thru? When you pay your monthly bill, is your service available for you to use when you need it? I just paid $50 for my ‘Unlimited' plan today, and I have spent the better part of my one day off this month, speaking with cust. serv. reps, about why my display reads 00.00 min. I would have much better preferred to have spent those hours with my children. However, if my children need to call me, I should not have to deal with phone issues & a company that is trying to tell me that I did something wrong, instead of taking responsibility & fixing it. Now, I ask you Elle. Which part of this problem was my fault or my own stupidity? Was it at the time that I purchased the minutes? Was it at the time that I input the PIN #? Perhaps it was at the time that I opened the confirmation message from Net10, telling me that my ‘Unlimited Monthly Plan was Successfully Added To Your Phone'. And yet, Stupid me, my phone display continues to read 00.00min available. Maybe, Elle, you need to look further than the end of the finger your pointing at others, as you call them stupid, uneducated & lazy, & realize, just how thankful you should be for being able to fall back on ATT.

It's been a road through hell so far.I bought one prepaid for 20usd, they sent me 400 minutes instead of 200, and then charged my credit card 5 times. Its a scam, but as an international graduate student I cannot afford the monthly plan from some real companies.I am taking the issue up with my bank, and I cannot wait to spend two hours on the phone tomorrow, both with my bank and customer service.Only get it if you >>really<>really<< cannot afford anything else.

I also would give 0 stars if that were an option. I used my Net10 phone for about 10 months and all was going well. Then I purchased 300 minutes for $30 at the end of January. I quickly received a text message saying my credit card had been charged and that 300 minutes would be added to my phone. About 6 days later, my phone was disconnected.I spent 6 hours over 4 days talking to customer service. The first two days I spent about 2 hours each call speaking with English challenged people who read from a script while telling me every 30 seconds that that “it will be just 2 more minutes Toni” and then placing me back on hold. After the roundabout for 2 hours they simply disconnected my call. I finally asked for a manger. He was also English challenged and kept me on the line for 2 hours with “just 3 more minutes Toni” until I told him his just 3 more minutes had added up to over an hour. I was informed that the $30 was not charged to my credit card and that I would need to buy minutes right then to get my phone reactivated. I purchased 450 more minutes and told him he had to have my phone working within 24 hours or I was taking my service elsewhere. My phone was reactivated in 24 hours. It was several days after that when I discovered I had a new phone number. No one mentioned a thing about a new number. Now I have to spend time telling all my friends and business associates that my phone number has changed. Meanwhile I am missing calls. The icing on the cake was that my credit card statement arrived today. There is a charge for $30 that was charged at the end of January in addition to the charge for the minutes to reactivate my phone. But, I did not recive any minutes for that $30 charge. Now I will have several more hours of wrangling over the phone with the nincompoops at “customer service” and I am unlikely to see a dime returned to me or minutes added to my phone. I’m pretty sure this is a Net10 scam to put some money in their coffers without many people realizing what has happened.Do yourself a favor and take your service elsewhere. Time is money and besides, they’ll rip you off anyway. So, cheap minutes don’t add up to anything but a headache. Net10 is crap!

I have the net10 unlimited plan for $50 a month and have had zero problems. I am surprised to see so many issues i guess since i never really had to call customer serivce at all. I pay $50 a month and that gives me unlimited calling texting and web too. I've had 1 dropped call in 6 months.

I have the unlimited plan for my 2 kids since they talk their faces off with their friends. I like the peace of mind knowing i can get in touch with with them wherever they are and that it's not crushing my bank account. They haven't complained about any issues to me and believe me if they were having issues i'd hear about it!

Overall a solid carrier for prepaid service. I've only dealt with customer service during activation so i cant really give and reaction to that end but so far i've been happy with the unlimited plan. I haven't been charged any hidden fees and the service has been very solid. I have full bars in my apartment and pretty much everywhere i go.

I'm surprised to see that so many ppl have had problems with customer service. Over the past year or so i've had a few issues first with activation and some minutes questions but when i call customer service they've done a decent job. For me the savings and cell signal i get with net10 far outweighs the problems i've had.

I haven't ever had to deal with NET10's customer service, but I can definitely sympathize with you who have had issues and spent hours on the phone trying to get things resolved. What I CAN tell you is that when I had my contract carrier, I would spend hours on the phone with ATT trying to figure out why my phone was randomly getting no service. So really, for the price I get to pay with NET10, I'll deal with crappy customer service, that is if I ever have to. Fingers crossed that I don't.lol.

Net10 is a huge, huge discount on the quality of signal strength that they offer. They bounce their signals off of ATT AND Verizon towers, whichever is better for where you live. Customer service is shoddy but you've got to expect some cut corners when you're paying 50 bucks a month for top-quality signal.

It took 10 days to get my phone. It worked for 2 phone calls then went dead. I spent hours on the phone with them over several nights with them telling me it would be reset in 24 to 48 hours. I went through this for a week with them. Then I was told it needed a new sim card. Instead of expressing overnight it it took another 10 days. So after calling over 10 ten times and being put off and on hold for about an hour each time I called they decided it was my sim card which I finally received. They set it up with my old phone number it worked for 3 days and then they suddenly changed my phone number – no one could reach me. After I figured out I have a new phone number I realize I have to set it up for phone messages again. Late Friday I rec'd a 3rd sim card with no reasonable explanation. I will never do business with Net 10 again. I got a new phone after it kept dropping minutes they told me it was my phone. So I bought this new phone and it came with even more problems. I think it was all just a scam to make me buy new phone. They are not worth the trouble at any price.

For the last one year, my husband and I have been using the Net10 phones, butmany times, there were different issues (very simple issue, eg. buying airtimeetc.) that caused us to have to call the customer service because the onlineservice does not work effectively. Each time I called, I was put on hold for some time, and then transferred to a more senior agent, and then waited again to get approval from their supervisor to solve problems. On an average, Net10 customer service agent took 60-90 minutes to solve each problem. As of today 2/25/11, I was put on hold many times, switching from agent toagent just to get my refunds (9 credit card charges that was wrongfully chargedand yet no minutes were added to my phone). One agent gave the promiseof refunding all 9 charges, but the next agent wanted to withheld one of thecharges. Talk about frustrations, you can't get better than Net10 customer services. After lengthy explanation, I was promised for all 9 refunds, witha free 500 minutes for 90 days added to my phone. But since my phonewas deactivated (due to error on Net10 part), they could not give me anycompensation unless I buy new airtime. Then I asked to transfer thosefree minutes to my new phone, and they said could not be done. Therefore, I would have to settle for none.Net10 just ate their words of what they said they would do to compensatefor the trouble and loss time. Altogether, I was on the phone with agents for 104 minutes. Yes, I got my refunds after all the troubles, but Net10 had wasted my valuable time for the problems that could have been easily solved by one agent within a few minutes.Net10 customer services have been very time consuming and lousy at the most. With all the time loss trying to get them to help me with my problems, therewas nothing offered to compensate for the anguish and troubles they caused usfrom using Net10 products for the last one year.I hope Net10 will work to improve their phone qualities and customer services. Until then, good luck. I am convinced there are better phone services out there who value their clients time and money.

I would rate customer service at -100 stars. After having a phone for 2 months it stopped working. They sent me a new one. It had to be activated. I was on the phone with them 1 hour to activate and they said it would take some time. After 36 hours the new phone was activated but did not have my old number on it. Another 1 hour phone call. It never could call out or receive calls. They send a third phone. I had to activate it even though the supervisor I spoke to said it would come with my minutes, old phone number and activated. That was another 1 hour call and it never worked. My fourth call only took 15 minutes and I was assured by the supervisor that time that it would be active in one hour. Still not activated 4 hours later. The attitude of the supervisors is oh well, no problem, we'll take care of that for you. Keep calling back if it doesn't work. We got a simple call & receive calls phone and we can't do either! Would I recommend Net 10 to someone? NO WAY!!!

I just bought a net10 lg900g phone 11 days ago, and the phone and the service is terrible!! The phone is very low,and when I try to turn it up, it sound like a speaker is on, the people that i am talking to, voice comes out where everyone can hear. also, people voices seem to be all chopped up, when talking to them. I tried to return the phone, and cust. service said it will take 3-5 days for a new one to be delivered to me. On the 4th day, NET10 TURNED MY PHONE OFF!! Their excused was, ‘FED-EX HAD THE WRONG ADDRESS!!' WISH THEY WROTE DOWN WRONG!! They also said that since I decided to keep my same number, my number was deactivated, and the Fed-ex man was out for delivery, so they deactivated it, but none of this was told to me, bad cust. service. Cust. Service told me I need to call Fed-Ex and give him my correct address, wish i feel was cust. service JOB!! when I spoke with the Superv., I told her to keep the new phone, and I will just deal with this old phone, because I am not sure if I want to keep Net10 service! BAD SERVICE, BAD SERVICE! I would never recomment this phone or NET10 service to ANYONE! How in the world, can you turned off a customer phone, who just paid $50, and not warn them, or explain anything to them! This is one service, that I have to think about keeping. They didn't care enough about me as a customer, to explain anything to. Later, my daughter called me, said my phone was off, not working! I called her just to check my phone, and a total different ph. number was up there, that was why she couldn't get me. They change my number without telling me, i told them i wanted my same number. I had just spoke with the supv. and she couldn even tell me that my number had been changed, SAD,SAD, SAD, AND BAD SERVICE!!

So, from what I gather, not too many people are happy with the customer service. It seems like this is an issue with many companies since they outsource their customer service reps. In the past when dealing with my contract carrier for hours on end, only to be told they appreciate my patience, I have lost mine and looking for an alternative. Aside from that, of all the major prepaid companies, net10 seems to offer the most flexibility with their plans. If one doesn't work you can try another. I like their phone selection better as well. Wish me luck.

We are done with this company. Going tomorrow to Radio Shack to purchase different phones and plans with either Verizon or T mobile. Their complete lack of professionalism coupled with the fact that 1 of our phones keeps getting shut off and the number changed now twice is proof this company is on the way out! Not only are the cust. service reps horrible but I am being charged 1.00 for every text on the 750 $25 plan that I got for my phone. Poor service, dropped calls, shabby pricing practices. Go elsewhere, Net10 appears to have gone to the dogs!!! Was considering calling the BBB on them, but whatever. Waste of time and money dealing with Net10 – Negative 0 rating.

I haven't been shy about slamming Net10 or any wireless company before but also believe in giving credit when due. I've had two recent procedures with Net10. First, I needed to change a phone number from one Net10 handset to a newer one. The old phone had a T-Mob.sim. The new phone had an ATT sim. I read different things about how long it could take. Well in my case I did it online and it was done in less then a day. Second thing. I had a phone stop working. Only a white screen. I called and they sent a replacement phone, same model. i also got an email and phone call with an apology. They must me confused with someone important! So both were resolved well. Note that I called Customer Escalations in Miami, not the CS number.

I spent 8 hours on the phone (not my Net 10, cause it never worked) talking to company Reps through out Central and South America, to no avail. I was dumped back in the ‘Waiting' call pool many times, I gave my information over a dozen times to over a dozen people, yet no information was ever in their net work. Before you buy Anything from these guys, go out and get a Rock and right a message on it and throw it in the direction you want your message to go. I have NEVER been able to add air time to this phone without a long conversation with technical support, who seem completely incompetent, and always try and find some reason that it's not their fault. If you want something for your money, you would be better to go elsewhere. I cannot understand why they are still in business.

I'm in my last month of a 2-year family 2-line talk plan contract with AT&T, so I thought I would give Net10 a try for a month before I made a decision about re-upping with AT&T.I bought the LG900G phone for $29.99 from BestBuy, and I can return it within 30 days with no questions asked. I also bought a $25/750 min/30 day card. Great opportunity to give it a try with minimal investment. The pros: The phone is nice-looking, sturdy and stylish. It activated easily, the minutes from the card were easily added from the phone and within 10 minutes of pulling it out of the box, I was trying it out. The call quality has been excellent, with no dropped calls and no spotty reception or static in my area. It connects easily to the browser feature and I was able to check my email, see top news and weather quickly and easily. I like that I can see how many minutes and service days I have left right on the front of the phone, if I want to. The battery showed fully charged for a full 7 days. The cons: The user manual is pretty useless and you just have to play with the phone to learn about it. (I am user-manual girl, myself, and like to read them before I start playing.) While the battery showed fully charged for a full 7 days, once it lost one bar, within 12 hours the phone was completely dead. So, I guess the battery indicator isn't completely accurate. While the included browser features function quite well on the internal memory, I was unable to access even one outside webpage without running out of memory. I am not willing to purchase an SD card to expand that. The screen is a little small. I'm not a big phone-web user, so it's no big deal. I don't really care for the $1 per text, either…I think that is a bit pricey. In summary, this is a nice phone and I really enjoyed using it. Easy to use and the call quality is great. I think that for a person who will talk and text lightly, the 750 plan is a great plan. Think about it, you only get 25 minutes a day of combined talk/text/data, which for a heavy user, that's not much. The $50 unlimited plan would be ideal for an individual plan if you're a heavy user. If you use the web at all outside of the limited browser feature funtions, you'll need the micro SD card to make it useful.I will be reluctantly returning the phone to BestBuy, and reluctantly re-upping with AT&T, but only b/c DH and I have an old, cheap family plan that NOBODY can beat, and we can do better with that family plan than buying separate Net10 plans, no matter how you slice it.I am convinced that the people who wrote negative comments are either dumb, can't read, or some combination of both. Net10 clearly spells out the policies so there should be no confusion there when switching between rollover and monthly plans. To avoid losing your minutes, you simply wait until you are out of minutes or service days, or both, to switch…DUH.

I bought a Net 10 Motorola V171 in 2006 and never had a problem with the phone or reception. Finally the battery would not take a charge. I went to Radio Shack to buy another battery and they said it was $52. She said she could sell me a new Samsung T201G for $19.99 so I bought it. It didn't work very well and I had dropped calls and intermitent reception so I took it back to Radio Shack and they gave me another Samsung just like the other one. The second Samsung didn't work either so I took it back to Radio Shack again and they said they could only give me another one that wouldn't work. So I bought a Motorola and shipped the Samsung back to Net 10 for a refund but they would not refund the shipping charges and sales taxes. I am just fed up with Net 10 and will never give them my business again. When you call Net 10's 800 number for service all you get is a computer unless you punch a bunch of buttons and then ,if you are lucky, someone answers and he/she only speaks broken English. It's just terrible how a corporation treats their customers and Net 10 is the worst. I do not spk for more than 750 minutes in a month so the deal was great!I lost my phone last week and called up customer care, they told me to get another net10 phone and call them back so they can transfer the number and the remaining minutes to the new phone. I got my phone today and called the customer care, they took all my details of the old and new phone and I was on line for more than an hour giving the details and was on hold while they were transferring my number. They said that it would take upto 72 hours for the transfer to take place. But surprisingly withing 30 minutes my new phone got activated with my old number and the remaining minutes! I was so satisfied for their quick response time ! I am a very happy customer of Net 10!!!

Bought a Samsung T401g from the Net 10 site. Phone worked OK, except from my home. If it won't work at my house, it's useless, as I was wanting to use it to replace my land line. The complaints regarding customer service are very warranted. It was horrible!! Barely understandable agents reading from a script. The crux of the problem was the phone shipped with a T-mobile SIM card. I dumped T-mobile after having the same problem with them. I told the agent that all she needed to do was send me an AT&T sim card, and my problems would be over. My wife has a t401g net10 phone with AT&T sim cards, and their phones work just fine from the house. But no, the holy frigging script had to be read. After 1 1/2 hours of ‘troubleshooting', I told the woman to forget it, and am returning the phone. A customer service nightmare if ever there was one. Be aware, if you aren't already, that TracFone and Straight Talk are owned by the same company. I will try buying a phone from the same place my wife and son bought theirs and see if I have any better luck.

I eventually hung up. Later that night, I finally got through to customer support after starting the activation process, getting cut off (maybe my phone maybe theirs), calling back getting activated but the minutes I had purchased did not add, call bac…k again on a technical support numer they gave me, walking through an automated process, waiting, calling back, walking through a different automated process that involved entering a long code into my phone (I have enterted a lot of codes through all of this) It looked like my phone was finally working and taht my minutes had been added. I noticed the browser did not work, but I was willing to forget about it for the tiem being. I tried to call mmy number and the phone never rang. It wen tstraight to voicemail. Today I have been on hold with customer support for three hrs before hanging up. At this minute I have been on hold for 1 hr + 15 minutes with No answer. I bought a lg900g phone with a 300 minute card yesterday(2/14/2010).I started the activation process on line.I needed to port my old number since I have had the number for many years.I also added the minutes card at the same time. After 4 hours I call customer service to check the statues of the activation.I was told it would take seven to ten days to complete the transaction.I asked if my current phone would still be active during the process. One hour later my current phone read ‘smart card inactive'. the net 10 phone remain inactive.Today my phone number has been ported but the phone remains inactive. So I have been without a phone for 2 day.and since I don't have a land line,I am without communication. Since I have health problems I am really very unhappy at this point. I have never ever had this kind of problem with any other carrier as far as activation is concerned.

I have been a customer of Net 10 for two years and was happy with the service. I recently switched to the 750/monthly plan and was told that I would lose the 250 service days I had accrued, but was given a strong assurance that nothing else would change. Repeatedly I asked if my rates and servces would reman the same and I was given the guarantee that the rates would remain the same as with my other plan. When the 750 minutes were added and my 250 accrued days were removed, my rates tripled in price. I called the company and was told sorry for the misunderstanding but there is nothng we can do. I asked to speak to someone higher up in the company than the supervisor on duty and was told that there was no one else who could help me but the supervisor. I was told that there was no other number or name to which I could voice my complaints. I feel very scammed for I lost my accrued 250 service days and my rates tripled in cost. I am very unhappy and feel like I was taken advantage of.

So I'm reading all the hype about the iphone coming to Verizon, and actually consider doing a switch over, cause let's face it, it's rather an appealing phone. But as things happen, don't get round to it. Next thing, there's a huge uproar, 'cause Verizon decided to ‘throttle' what they refer to as ‘abusers' of their unlimited plan-they slow them right down. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but unlimited service surely can't have abusers-you're paying for what they term unlimited. Hmmm, reassess. Think I'll just stick with Net10's unlimited plan. It's around $70 cheaper/month, I still get to have a smart phone and best of all, they don't get to tie me down with $350 etf and then change how I may use my phone. Net10 still leaves me in control.

I've had a Net10 phone for almost three years. Never had a problem with it, even after it sat in a drawer for over a year. I did have to call customer service to get a new SIM after the original was turned off, but not a surprise. I didn't use the phone for a long time. The customer service rep was nice enough and sent me a new SIM free of charge. The only thing I can complain about is the extra hassle of reactivating the phone if you let the service lapse. Other than that, no worries.

If they are charging you more call your ATTORNEY GENERAL'S Office.2. If they are doing this to me, think of the millions of these cards they sell.I'd be willing to bet money they do it on every card they sell.3. Check your receipt, they said billing amt. changed, but receipt still says the same. Watch for how much it takes off yoUr phone. 4. I had THE WORST experience with Net10's customer service. I had a TracFone which I didn't have any problems with service-wise but needed a qwerty phone which they don't offer. I figured I'd switch to Net10 since they are TracFone's sister company. After 2 hours with various outsourced customer service reps one day I spent several hours another day where i was condescended to, lied to, refused what I was promised and hung up on. And this was by a ‘customer service manager' in the ‘corporate office' (I suspect he was actually in India too) who refused to put me through to his boss. When I called back and did speak with that csm's manager he told me he would resolve my issue. I assume he was just placating me since he did not follow through. When I emailed a complaint to the PR department I got a call from the ‘executive resolution team' who basically gave me the exact same line as everyone else and clearly didn't even listen to me because they sent a follow-up email that did not address my problem. Needless to say I returned the Net10 phone and will never give them or TracFone my business again. Have had Net10 prepaid service since April 2010. Adding minutes are usually done online as they do offer some better minutes deals. In December I tried the 750 minutes for $25.00 and it worked fine. This month I purchased it again with 1 day left before it ran out. BTW, they do send you a couple of text messages warning you that the days are running out. This month I had until the 30th to renew, so I logged onto their website and tried to add the 750 min / 30-day plan, but it wouldn't process the transaction on my business credit card. ‘Unable to process the credit card and to call customer service'. I tried last night, and got the recorded message ‘to call back tomorrow between 11am – 3pm EST as call volumes are lower at those times'. Called today, got an agent, who spoke good enough English to understand her. Explained that my phone was showing 12 minutes left, 0 service days. I did manage last night (through the phone itself)to make a purchase for their 600 minutes plan, and got a confirmation # (on their website) showing the purchase had gone through, credit card was approved. But, nothing was showing up on the phone as of noon today. After talking to the first agent, I was transferred to their billing department to resolve the issue. After giving them the S/N, SIM # (again), I found out that their website ‘was having problems' yesterday, and multiple transactions were showing. It took almost an hour to clear those, and was given a confirmation # for each. Hopefully credited! Agent was harder to understand, but helpful. After multiple times of being put on hold for 3-4 minutes each, the agent was able to get my 600 minutes, had me enter in codes in the phone, but then that added on 750 minutes; more codes, another 900 minutes, more codes. Total minutes now are 2250 min. / 90-days of airtime service. When I tried to get this set back to 900 min. he said ‘we've changed your account so much, lets leave it'. So, after 1 hr. 54 min. on my wife's Net10 cellphone (eating up her minutes), I was able to re-activate my business / home phone. Didn't lose my number, thank goodness! Bottom line with Net10, re-activate your phone a couple of days prior to the days ending, and renew minutes online. Like others, the cards don't always work, and then you're left with no service, and out your money.

Net 10 is worse than useless, and if they had a zero star rating, that is what I would give them. I have NEVER been able to add air time minutes without a 30 minute or more call to their OUTSOURCED customer service, with people that I can't understand. This phone was purchased for use by someone who visits me from overseas and wants a phone to use here, and to supplement my own regular minutes between his visits when I run out. In October I bought a $25 air card and it would not take when I tried to redeem it. After a very long call with ‘support', I was told that the SIM card was too old. I could not get my money back from the card, but they offered to mail me a SIM card. The problem is that it showed up here too late for when I really needed the phone. But I still installed it when it did show up, I loaded the air time minutes (which required another phone call), and it was fine. Then a month or so later, I bought another air time card. Again it took a call to ‘support' to get it to work. Tonight I bought a new airtime card, and again it would not redeem through the phone. I called ‘support' and after just under an hour on the phone talking to multiple people, I was told that this card would not work with this phone, that the phone was too old, and the card wasn't the right one for the phone, despite the fact that it was the only card available for that phone, it specifically displayed on the phone that this is the card I needed and also that it's the same card I have been buying all along, including a month previously, and I've been getting incoming calls on it as recently as a month ago. They finally agreed to send me a new telephone. I asked if I could keep the same number, they said yes. I asked if I could retrieve my voicemail from the new phone, and they said no, I should dial voicemail from this phone — and the whole point of this call was that I couldn't make a call out because my air time had expired!! I had to explain the problem completely again from the beginning! Again, they said they would send me a new phone — and don't you know that when I hung up, and entered the pin number again — the phone is now working! So their stock answer seems to be ‘the phone is too old' or ‘you bought the wrong card', and even though they offered to send a new SIM card a couple months ago, and now a new phone, they don't actually seem to support what they sell.

I proceed to get passed around and asked to be placed on hold every 3 minutes, every 3.1 minutes. I think they are just trying to piss you off and make you hang up because at the end of every call they ask for your number and say ‘I em nah a ding your'd minees to you'd phon' pardon the dialect but it's funny. Anyhow I hope that some NET10 CEO see's all of these posts and brings America back to America providing better customer service. Customer service is horrible. They sent me a battery to address a service concern, but it was for the wrong phone. When I called to have it corrected they flat REFUSED. Policy is one battery per customer, and it absolutely didn't matter that they got it wrong. They did offer me a new phone but not only would I have to rebuild my contact list, I would have to transfer my minutes then and there leaving me without a phone for as long as it took to get the new one. I made what seemed to be a reasonable request that the transfer of minutes take place after I received the new phone, but I was again flatly denied. It's not ‘policy.' Their ‘policy' clearly does not involve any concern for customer service, or even any logic. I will never make the mistake of doing business with net10 again.

Net ten is a great deal as far as prepaid goes. The catch is it is a do it yourself phone company. All the customer service number is good for is to help u transfer from one phone to another. Any other questions or technical difficulties are your problem. Yesterday downlodaed a game because buy one get one free. So i thought that was a good deal. long story short I didnt get the games i paid for, called customer service and when i finally got transfered to a ‘Manager' i got hung up on after discribing my problem. So i dialed again, had to jump through the hoops all over again ( read my serial # and such and then listen to them repeat it back) to get back to a manager. Then i get hung up on again. So i dial for a third time, jump through the hoops, get on the line with the manager ‘Samuel'. I tell samuel i have been hung up on twice now and could he write my number down if we get disconnected. He says that its not possible because it is an incoming call center only, but assures me multiple times that we will not get disconnected. He says he cant help me with a refund or anything else so i ask for his ‘operational supervisor'. He puts me on silent hold for over an hour (basicly hung up on me after spending 2 hours trying to resolve this) and thats when i figured it out… NET 10 IS A DO IT YOUR SELF CELL PROVIDER. If you have any problems or tech questions google is your only help. And a little tip: Dont do net 10's monthly plans. Straighttalk.com (witch is the same company and service as net10 and tracfone) has the same exact unlimited plan for 45$ (instead of 50) and another monthly plan for 30$.One more tip: purchasing phones and minutes directly from the net10, tracfone, strighttalk.com websites is where most of the bargins are at.

Worst customer service, they ask for your phone and your information over and over again… It took me literally 2 hours in the phone for them to get my phone a phone number, which should have been way faster… and then a defect on the phone makes it have super low signal and I could not make or receive calls, when I called for this it took them another 4 hours to say they would send me another sim card, which will, hopefully, arrive in 4-7 days

Worst customer service ever… First I receive a phone without a phone number, I then have to talk to them and input codes in my phone for about 2 hours to get a phone number… Then it gets super low signal and no service in most parts. I call to see whats going on and have to be there with them for about other 5 hours (literally) for them to send me another sim card for it to get better signal. I am very disappointed and will probably not order anything from them again… and to finish it I just noticed the comment above… they were charging me 25 cents per message and with my monthly plan now they charge me 50 cents!!

For about the first 25 days I had no problems with my phone. But then:1. I stopped receiving text messages (it's been 5 days and counting2. I have no land-line, so I have to use my cell phone to call their customer service, WHICH USES UP MY MINUTES. Yup, customer service uses up minutes.3. I had limited minutes left, so to make sure I could be on the phone with customer service long enough to fix the problem I bought minutes online. Not until AFTER YOU PAY do they mention the minutes won't be added for up to 24 hours. It's been about 15 hours, nothing yet. 4. The customer rep I did initially speak with had a thick accent that most native English speakers would find extremely difficult to understand. So not only do I have to pay to talk to customer service to fix a problem that is their fault, and not only do I have to stay on the line for a long time to troubleshoot my phone, but I have to spend half of my time asking him to repeat what he is saying. IF YOU'RE GOING TO CHARGE FOR YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE, HIRE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS WHO SPEAK FLUENT, CLEAR ENGLISH. Or better yet, do so and STOP CHARGING TO FIX YOUR PROBLEMS. 5. I only gave it a two because there is no contract.

I am taking them to small claims court. I will simply ask the judge to ‘make it work' We will see what happens. Americans who use this service will handsomely earn what is comming. This company sucks.

I've been with Net10 for about eight months now, and I am extremely pleased with them. I recently upgraded from the LG300G (not a bad little phone) to the LG620G (an excellent phone)and am currently using the 300 Minute/60 Service Days card. I have plenty of minutes already, but should I need more airtime, I have great choices with the 900 Minutes/90 Service Days and the 1500 Minutes/180 Service Days cards, not to mention the monthly 750 Minutes and Unlimited cards. Service is also great: no drop calls, consistent connection, etc. An improved phone selection and customer service would make Net10 simply unbeatable and would make me a customer for life…guaranteed!

I started out okay with this plan but now in just 2 months I've had all my minutes and day mysteriously erased.I bought the 30 day unlimited for $50, it works for a few days or a couple weeks but then before the month is up it all disappears. I have been able to restore it by making 1 hour phone calls from my office to customer service but it's become a recurring problem and now has happened 3 times in less than a month. Not Happy.

i wish i could enter negative stars. any three year could keep you on the phone for 8 total hours over 3 days and still not have a working phone. my prepaid unlimited will expire before my phone works!!!!!!!!

Have to give a resounding positive for my experience with Net10. They advertize simplicity and clarity, as well as savings, and I've been lucky to have all 3 throughout the time I've used them. Will definitely stick with them, until I find a better deal maybe 🙂

I'm really happy Net10 is finally offering an Unlimited plan. I've always felt slightly loyal to them (not sure why), but was on the verge of changing to another company (Straight Talk or another). Now that I can get unlimited service with them I can't see why I’;d ever go anywhere else 🙂
