Amazing deal. I just bought an LG Neon with AT &T but will be selling it and going with Straight Talk. I have a question however. I understand that Straight Talk uses the Verizon network…is that always the case? I have a 16 year old and almost all of his friends are on the Verizon network and most can only text Verizon to Verizon. He would rather keep his Verizon service (prepaid with NO calling…Just 20 bucks a month for unlimited texting) rather than switch to anyone else because most of his friends would not be able to text him for free. IF this service always runs on the Verizon network would Verizon customers be able to text and call him for free? Thanks in advance!

OMG! I just received my cell phone from Fed Ex last night. It took me about 5 minutes to sign onto straighttalk site and enter my information. Ten minutes later, my phone was activated! I let it charge for 5 hrs. just like the instructions said. While it was charging, I checked it out and LOVE it! The rings are awesome and everything about the phone is great. I think anyone that doesn't want a contract should get one of these phones.

I forgot to add that I got confused for a minute when I had to call to activate the phone. They give you a number, and a star is before the number. At first I didn't think to enter the star along with the number. Make sure you enter everything the instructions say to.

To those who wants free ring-tones. Go to http://www.mytinyphone.com then you can send them to your phone or save on your computer and send to your phone from computer in e-mail as : phonenumberTo mypixmessages.com to your straight talk lg slider 290c because my son has a lg slider & that's how I sent some ring-tones to his straight talk phone & it works or have some one send from another phone to your phone as mms message that works too. I hope this helps.

Straight Talk is TERRIBLE! 1. There is NO way to connect to the internet as advertised. Five calls to support with no results. 2. We paid for 30 days, and now they say we only have 15 days of service. We've been on the phone with customer service for 1 hour and 20 minutes and they keep putting us on hold. Finally they hang up on us. Please do not buy this fraudulant phone and service.

The coverage is GREAT! Same as Verizon which is the best. I dont like the phones, I have the $100 one and its okay, but not real high tech, pretty basic, although I do like having the keyboard. Now I am only giving 2 stars because this is my THIRD phone, and 1 of the 3, could they get the voicemail to work, and on all 3, every single time someone calls me, after 30 secs it disconnects me and they have to call me back and then it is fine. That is getting to be a ROYAL pain. They told me I had a defected phone, well 2 phones later, I have the same issue! its driving me nuts.

First of all let me say that I was an alltel customer for years and was pretty satisfied with my service! When verizon bought out alltel I upgraded and thought nothing of it! They assured me that my monthly bill would stay the same. Well they were wrong! The bills were never consistent and always way over what they should have been! Now let me say that I was very skeptical of this ‘straight talk' phone service. I researched several other companies before giving straight talk a try. I bought the $100.00 phone and the unlimited plan. I was able to port my old number over within 45 minutes! It was very simple and I even called customer service to ask them a question. I may have been on hold for a total of 3 minutes! The only reason I give straigh talk 4 stars instead of 5 is because I could not use my current phone (balckberry storm) with their service. Other than that the service is great and the price is wonderful! It definitely was worth it! I was never able to talk on my mobile phone inside my home and now I can! I live in southeast Georgia. This is a great plan and I hope it gives some of these other companies something to think about!

Ok, I am a normal mom who had a long standing conventional 2 year contract with a big company and a nice phone. I wanted to get a new phone and the old contract expired. Researching, I found straight talk. After thinking and waivering for a month or so I took the plunge and it could not have been better. Amazing. Really I was put off by the whole trac phone idea. I am not an illegal immigrant đŸ™‚ It just did not fit my image, you know? Well, finally purchased the $100 slider phone and a $45 card at Walmart. Went home, registered the phone and requested for my phone number to get ported over to the straight talk phone. That is when I started to get nervous!!! The next day, about 24 hours later the phone started working. I then set it up on ‘autopay' on the straigh talk website. The only bummer was entering in all the phone numbers instead of porting them over like they do when you buy a big name contract. I took it as an opportunity to edit my contacts đŸ™‚ The phone works great even in our house. It is a nice phone. Also, it is easy to use. Not techy or poorly designed. I have been amazingly pleasantly surprised. Great phone and no long term contract. It's a good plan – even for a normal mom đŸ™‚ So ditch those 2 year contracts without fear. Also, I talked to the customer service people several times while waiting 24 hours for the number to port. They were extremely helpful, informed and overall pleasant to deal with (I was surprised).

I bought the cheap 29.95 LG phone and the 30.00 card at Walmart. Do not need web. I tired to activate on Internet, but had trouble as they asked for a Credit Card. I don't know if I made a mistake, but anyway did the automated 800 thing. Got new number and it was fast and easy. Good reception in Vegas so far. I send text messages to myself from my web site using numberTo vtext.com and works great. Gave only 4 stars because of ST web site.

I got my phone November 23, 2009. I got the Samsung r451 because I love the QWERTY keyboard. It took me about 10 minutes top to get my phone activated, I chose to get a new number because I didn't want to deal with all the waiting for it to transfer over. I chose the unlimited plan. Texting is fast, I get amazing service, better service then I had with Alltel. Though from the time I bought it I've had about 7 dropped calls, it can be annoying at times, but it's tolerable. I think the web browser is a bit slow, but the only think I use it for is Myspace and Ringtones. So over all the service is great, texting is amazing, it's over all a great phone with great service and an amazing plan. Would highly recommend to anybody.

They said they could not do anything unless I purchased a new 45 dollar card well it has been 3 days my phone works and then stops. I called again yesterday and they assured me that it would be changed in 24 hrs well it is the following day still no change. Customer service is terrible. Quite a language barrier. Very frustrated. I really like my Straight Talk phone, and the plan. I read so many negative comments that I was a quite worried. The setup took maybe 10 minutes on the internet, I had to return the original phone because I wanted a better phone and the customer service was fast and friendly for transferring my information to the new phone. This was yet another complaint (customer service) and my ‘plan' suits my needs wonderfully. I have heard a lot of people complain about the 30mb of data, well that’s why I have a laptop to get my ‘data' you can check all your basics on your Straight Talk phone. For 30.00 it is a perfect getaway from contracts. I dropped my AT &T Blackberry Bold for this, sure I miss it but I don't miss the bill.

PS: I did go back and get the Samsung R415C and that really helped with sound quality. It takes good pics, and has the media card slot so you are not LIMITED with ring tones and can easily move your pics to to your pc/laptop. For 30.00 cmon, you really can't beat it. If you want all the apps, then you will pay for them. This was a VERY GOOD choice for my needs.

Straight talk is great. I bought the standard phone for 39.99 at walmart. The first time I bought the 30 dollar card sense wanted to try it out before i purchased the 45.00 dollar card. Big mistake. The phone is awesome the service is great the pricing is great. However I seemed to be on it all the time and used my thousand minutes in 2 weeks. I had to upgrade to the 45 dollar card. That is working out wonderful. No worries about texting or using the internet or talking on the phone. The service is good. A few dropped calls but that has always happened with any phone people who say it hasn't is a liar. I have used verizon and at &t. There isn't many dropped calls but every now and then a few. Not a big deal. I got my roommate to leave verizon for straight talk. He had his sister and her husband leave at &t for straight talk. I never had any reason to call customer service sense I activated over the internet. No problems there. activation took about 5 minutes with a new number. I did call customer service a few times just to see how they language was and the wait times. Never waited more then a few minutes. Everything is good. My room bought the 99 dollar phone he loves it. We will be staying with them for a long time.

I purchased a ST phone about 2 months ago. There are a lot of positives and a couple of negaives with the phone service. Negatives: My text messages wern't coming in when there were sent. Someone sent me a text at 9pm and I didnt recieve it on my phone unil 7am the next day. This was happening for about a week and thats when I called customer service. There was no wait to talk with tech support. He told me to do the normal things, turn the phone off, take the battery out. But to no avail, the problem still continued. I figured out if I called someone my text messages would come through, so I was calling my home phone every 30 minutes just to get my text messages. Now, I don't have that problem. I guess my phone corrected itself after about a 2-3 week problem. The other problem I have is the quality of the voice. I have the $79/ phone, but the quality is not that great. I've had people tell me to call them on my house phone because of the sound porblem. Its just like getting a cheap house phone compared to getting an expensive one. With the cheap one you hear static, crackling and hollow airy noises. The sound is just not as crisp as it should be. Positive: My set up(on line), and porting my old phone number was complete in about 10 minutes. They said it can take up to 7 days, but not me. One thing you have to remember when porting your old number is, you have to have ALL of the information correct when porting. Meaning, you have to have not only your old phone number but your account number with your old company, your pin number, correct address, name and last 4 digits of the SS#. A lot of people don't know their acct number. The number on my bill from my old carrier WAS NOT the acct number they gave me when I called them. So before porting your old phone number, call your old carrier and get the correct information before starting. And you can't beat the price. $45. I was paying over $200 for 3 lines with Sprint. Every month my bill went up for some odd reason, and only 1 of the lines was unlimited. Now I am halfway content. I thought about purchasing the most expensive model, but if the quality of the sound is the same I will really be upset. So, does anyone else have a problem with the sound??

Problems porting but when it came down to it, they needed the account number from my old provider and I WAS with GoPhone. I called GoPhone and asked for my account number because I was porting my number they reluctantly gave it to me and I contacted StraightTalk back and gave them the required information and bravo it was done within 24 hours. Everything works fine on mine: outgoing calls, texting and web (except AOL), but the problem I have is incoming calls. 90% of the time when someone calls me, the service drops the call in about 30 seconds. I have had the Razor, then both Samsungs and it has done it on all 3 of them. CS will try to fix it and it might work for a day, then it starts back again. I thought this has to beat Boost, a tried method, Hum!, no!…not SIM opreated, a Samsung, should be a decent phone, in just a few days I have discovered that after trying to send a message SMS the keypad ‘locks up', types garbage and will not delete a letter, so all is joined, the speaker is about the same as no speaker, I can not conect to my pc, I can not download ringtones from my favourite site, and have my ‘known', ringtones, even when I put them onto an SD card, I can not access my photo's for incoming calls, the volume for their ringtones is so poor it goes unheard. Granted, I had been paying AT &T $120 a month for 4 years, but had access to everything I needed. Yahoo IM, MSN im, everything in fact. I guess I could have bought a car for that $4k. So…what to do, dump the service, trash the phone?, try to sell it?. I do still have my at &t Acct open. Anyone have any suggestions, I know this is not a Blackberry, but I was hoping for at least as good as LG Shine.

I've activated two ST accounts – one for me and one for my wife. I opted for a new number and was up and running almost immediately. On my wife's phone, we ported her number over from Verizon and that entire process (start to finished) took less than 15 minutes (to full use of the phone). In the past month (I'm into my 2nd month) we've used the phones extensively throughout Florida (north and central) and just returned from a trip to California (San Francisco up to Crescent City). We also had a stop over in Las Vegas. The only time we lost service was while going through one of the redwood forests in Northern California but I'm sure that was a lack of any type of cell service. We've used both phones extensively for calling, for texting, and for internet access. The phone is certainly not a ‘smart phone' and we're definitely not on 3G but it's fast enough for normal moderate usage. I'm saving big dollars over Verizon and still getting use of the Verizon network. Why in the world anyone would not use ST is beyond me. Perhaps I've just been lucky but this is, by far, the most cost effective cell phone provider that I've ever dealt with.

I LOVE this phone and plan and wonder why other cell phone companies are even still in business. The phone was affordable, does everything (minus apps – but will come in time, I'm sure), the plan is the best on the market, and best of all, no contract. I shouted with joy the day my Sprint contract ended and ran for the nearest WalMart. Easy to begin service, I was up and running within 30 minutes of taking the phone out of the package. I chose to have a new number, since everyone who matters will receive notice or has my email address anyway. You will love this phone and the service. Not one dropped call, excellent reception, easy to refill and continue, and no limits!

I was given a phone no. that belonged to someone else. Called C.S. ummpteen times with indifferent service most of the time, that is if I could understand their ‘English'. AOL doesn't work with the browser. Ordered 1 Samsung phone online, sent (2) $379 phones & billed for same. Cost $12 to return their mistake!! No, I'm not happy with this expen$ive Finesse phone, not happy with sllooowwww web access and most frustrated with the indifference of most C.S. people. A C.S. supervisor hung up on me, is that what you want to deal with?!! NOT ME!!!!

I don't know how old this post is ST has a bit more than 3 phones now and I got a new number and had no problems at all, I have been told to buy your phone at Wal-Mart not on line then if it doesn't work right take it back and it will for sure be easier to deal with. You won't get your min. back of course that is how most pre pays are. Anyways I hope this helps. I think it is better now than when most opinions were posted

My husband talked me into changing over to ST from our previous prepaid (Alltel/Verizon) in early Nov. Looked good on paper. Bad move. I've spent over 8 hours on the phone with at least 16 different CS reps. Have taken out the battery, turned off the phone, reset the phone, reactivated the phone countless times per directions of the CS reps. They sent me a new phone saying that my other phone (the Samsung slider one which was only about a week old) was probably defective. Still don't have web access. I figured I'd give them a bit of time to get their act together — so I kept the phone for a bit longer. My service date ended 1/1/10. I bought a new service card, called 12/31/09 to refill my time. It's now 1/4/10– I have no phone service and have spent an additional 1 1/2 hours trying to get service back. Although it'll cost me an additional $25 dollars to activate an account with Verizon, as well as cost more monthly to maintain service, I think it would be worth it. Straight Talk has been nothing but headaches for me. My advice — stick with the tried and true companies. Tracfone has a poor track record with their non-ST service. As the old saying goes, if something looks too good to be true, it probably is.

I've had this phone for a couple of months and love it. I went to Florida for Thanksgiving and NY state for Christmas and my phone worked wonderful throughout the roadtrips. Drove from SC to FL and SC to NY, going through NC, VA, WV, MD, PA and NY and it was great. Coming back through PA on I-81 through the mountains, I lost signal for about five minutes, no roaming, nothing, couldn't use the phone but on the other side of mountain it came back. Bluetoothes it with our GPS, (Garmin 265 if you're interested) and it worked great. They found each other and stayed connected the entire time. Bluetoothed with other phones in NY to swap ringtones etc.. and it worked fine.

Thank you Dolfin for the phone number. After about an hour talking to the track phone cs they were able to change something in their system so that my recieved calls are not disconnected anymore. ST cs couldn't help me, but Track Phone could, so here is the phone number and maybe they can help anyone else with problems that ST brushes off…800-876-5753. But you have to call from a phone other than the one with the issues.

Overall, it's been fine. If you can port via the website, do it. CS takes longer. My phone started working within 2 hours. My only complaint is the very annoying ‘minutes remaining' announcement at the start of each call. CS will take it off, takes about 5 min.

Its the worst fustration I have ever dealt with.. Beware you will get no service from this company

I got my phone from Walmart 3days ago; I got the Samsung r451c slider qwerty keyboard phone. I activated it on StraightTalk.com, opting for a new phone # instead of porting my existing one cuz I didnt want to have to possibly wait up to a week for a port to go through. So, I activated it online and within 15 minutes, it was activated and has been working fine! đŸ™‚ I havent traveled out of my zipcode yet though, so I do hope it will work wherever I travel. I've read some previous posts by others saying it wasnt working out side of their zipcode.. so we'll see. đŸ™‚ But phone calls, texts, picture messaging all has been working just fine, so has the internet browsing & downloading from the net. đŸ™‚ I have the $30 plan 1,000 mins, 1,000 texts, and 30MB web-surfing/data transfer. đŸ™‚ The only reason I've give 4stars instead of 5, is because I'm not too happy with the phone itself; I wish there was a demo phone I could've tried out at the store so I could feel how the buttons feel; i cant seem to texts as fast as I could have with my prior phone, the WildCard through Virgin Mobile. I prefer a flip Qwerty phone as opposed to this slider one. Maybe it will just take some getting use to, so we'll see. But overall, i'm happy with it. đŸ™‚ I live in the Metro Detroit, Michigan area.

When I buy, I always double, sometimes triple check the fine print. But with these guys, I hope to God that I missed something! It's now January 3rd, 2010. Today is when my payment is due. I have my account set to ‘Auto Pay'. My phone stops working and tells me I have insufficient funds. I go to the website, look up my phone and plan info [which is hard as hell to do, by the way, seeing as though they have NO links that lead you anywhere of importance on the site (i.e. your phone info)] and it claims that my phone was NOT set to ‘Auto Pay'. Did any of you users have the same issue I did? Now, I'd like to think that I'm ignorant on some level and skip over where it said ‘Auto Pay resets to NO at the beginning of the new year', but I highly doubt that's the case here. So, I turned Auto Pay back on, but I think their computer is thinking ‘Okay, you want Auto Pay FOR NEXT TIME', so I was going to pay it manually, but I fear to pay now for minutes and the Auto Pay takes it out two days later. I'll write back with the following days' results.

I was able to move from my existing Verizon service to straighttalk and improve my minutes/text while reducing my costs by almost $600 a year. I purchased the Samsung R451C and have only good things to say about the phone and the service. I can't recommend the convenience enough. It took me about 15 minutes to do the transfer myself, and there were no snags.

Bought this phone for my wife for christmas because she wanted a new phone. Bought the $99 Samsung phone from Walmart store with a $45 unlimited phone card. Day after christmas activated her phone online with a New number and things went smooth. I wanted to see how the thing went, so we still have two months left on Verizon. This way she can keep her Verizon phone turned off, with her ‘New' phone number on the voicemail. So far she's ‘testing' the phone and doesn't seem to have any problems. Not sure if I'll set up for auto pay or just buy cards? Probably buy cards. Anyway. I like the No Contract and More for less that straight talk seems to offer. I'm thinking that Walmart/Straight Talk will bring down the cost of other plans

Purchased on 12/26, requested to port my number from Net10 (which is operated thru TracFone, same people with Straightalk). Net10 phone stopped working 12/27. It is now 1/3, phone is still not able to be activated. Numerous, numerous calls to CS, always same thing, wait 24 hours. Cancelled the port and requested a new number since they had down that the number was being ported from Cingulair, figured the port would not go thru. It has been 48 hrs since I requested to cancel port and get a new number. Was told would be able to be actived within 24 hours from initially requesting. CS sucks! They don't know what they are doing, tell you the same thing, 24 hrs will definetly work. Not impressed. If the phone would actually work would be a good deal. We'll see, maybe be activated in another week hopefully. Asked to refund money, no luck of course. Just be aware that this scenario is a possiblily.

But if not you can't get mad and if you do get mad at your self for not reading the ST terms first. And I have talk with CS a few times they are nice and helpful as long as your not a rude jerk to them.. Anyways my reason for this post is because people want to know How the SERVICE. Can't get phone working. Got phone (Samsung SCH-R451C) 12/31. Went on website and activated- 5 minutes later my existing Verizon phone shut off and my ported number came up on my new phone. Website says phone number is in process of being ported over. When I try to make a call it says I have no minutes. I have called CS 3 times. The standard thing they say is it will take up to 7 days to port the number. The last person said 7 to 10 days. They say the process is almost done when the old phone is shut off. Well, that happened within 5 minutes of getting the phone. The last person said to wait 15 minutes and make a call, then wait 15 minutes again. CS has no experience with the phones or service, they are just working off scripts and I have no confidence in anything they are saying. I just don't believe that the phone will start working in 4 days. (or now 4-7 more days). It just has a whole ‘not ready for prime time' feel to it. I read the bad comments, I just thought those people were making mistakes or changing things. I will post when things are resolved. I guess I never realized how much I rely on my phone. I'm debating whether to call Verizon and turn my old phone back on, if I do I know whatever they tell me will be the truth, and the phne will probably be on before I hang up. The $20/month savings is feeling like ‘penny saved, pound foolish'.

I said : no way! I went to walmart and thru a fit, they replaced it and gave me money back on the portion of the card I did'nt use, and I paid extra and got the better phone….so I thought, and another new number only to find out this phone does the same thing, so it has to be with the service. If anyone has any idea how to stop my recieved calls from being disconnected in 30 secs. could you please email me at: marie_cato1To yahoo.com…..this is really annoying me, and from what I've read going with another service and keeping my phone number would be pure HE**.

I've had a ST phone for 2 months now. Trying it out to make sure it works in my area (North Mississippi) it works fine. I bought the $30 plan first & the lg 220c from wal-mart. Long story short this phone doesn't receive pic texts. So I called CS not straight talk I called the Tracfone CS # 800-876-5753. They said it was an error on their end because the lg 220c doesn't receive pic texts so they sent me a replacement phone out immediately. Replaced it with a lg 290c. It works fine I receive pic texts now & you can send ring-tones to it you don't have to download from the ST website for ring-tones & graphics. From another phone send ring-tones or pics to ST phone: phonenumberTo mypixmessages.com for pics or just a text phonenumberTo vtext.com I've read several reviews on this web-site for information because I've been a AT &T customer for 8 years & I'm switching to ST because it works just fine & I'm satisfied with the service with the one phone I've tried & works. If you have trouble keep calling they will make it right. At first when the lg 220c wouldn't work for pic texts I had to call like 5x b4 I got the problem solved. I talked to ‘Jessica' at tracfone cs She even called me back took care of the problem & when I got the new lg 290c replacement phone they had to reset the phone and no problem. It maybe frustrating to some but if you have patience it's well worth it in the end. I'm switching from AT &T & I get great service now with AT &T since they just put in a tower a mile from me. That's not the point I'm tired of paying $150/month for 3 phones with texting & rollovers with them. I don't use all my minutes anyways so you eventually lose minutes you pay for anyways. So with this you either use the minutes or lose them with ST. By the way I have to get out of a contract with AT &T but I figured it all out & the money I would save with ST & it's worth it to me to have to get away from AT &T in just a few months I will have saved enough with ST it doesn't bother me that I have to pay to get out of my contract with AT &T because I will save myself a-lot of money by switching to ST. It's not worth me staying or binding me for another 2 years with AT &T. I hope this helps others because I've read several negative reviews here & that doesn't bother me one bit because I'm switching to ST. The 1st phone I let my son use & it works fine so now with my other 2 phones to replace by switching from AT &T I have ordered from Wal-mart web-site the ST 2-razor V3a cell-phones. I'm also porting our numbers from AT &T by reading the posts here about porting numbers that to doesn't bother me at all because I've had my number for 7 years & I want my same number so I'll be porting my other 2 numbers over to ST. Me & my husband's numbers from AT &T. I have patience & that's what it takes to save a-lot of money then that's what I will do. You have to take the good with the bad & it's not always a bad thing just give it a chance because you will save a-lot of money in the end for the same services. I know from the reviews here I will buy my service cards at wal-mart & not auto refill them. Just easy to get them at wal-mart then go to the ST web-site log in & add your service pin # & it goes right through no problem. I hope this helps others that really want to save money it's worth it in the end just remember to have ‘patience' it will work.

People, We're looking at this all wrong. I'm not a paranoid person but let's do the math. Straight Talk doesn't care. You think they haven't gotten the hint that their cust. serv. is deplorable? They don't care. They have your money. So if you leave, so what? They got one month out of you. Any other company can turn your phone on immediately. It ‘can take Str.Talk up to 7 days' is their policy. If you get upset, leave..they got your money. Any other company can port your number within 2 hours. Read the reviews, people have waited a week. If you don't like it, leave, they got your money. Any other company will transfer your balance if you switch plans or phone number. They don't care. Either pay double or leave. They've got your money. Every so often, they allow for everything to work like the rest of the companies. That's just to show that they don't have a 100% failure rate. Figure it out. If they can port one number within two hours, they can do it to all requested port numbers. If they can turn on one phone immediately, they can turn on every phone immediately. Once your old number is off on your old company, its sent to Str. Talk. Its Str. Talk that lets the number sit in limbo. The Cust. Serv. reps and techs have to be told to give poor service and no service. Someone was told that they couldn't be talking on the straight talk phone to have service changed. Why not, if it takes 7 days to change it. Our thinking is wrong while their profits are growing when we leave in frustration.

I LOVE S.T.!!! I took the advice of someone here & didn't try to keep my phone #(I'll do that later). Same person suggested activating online vs. using C.Service. I charged my new phone for 5 hours per directions. Then I followed the directions online & everything went like ‘clock work.’; The directions said it may take an hour before I could use the phone after activation. It took about 45 mins. I have talked w/ C. S. 3 times total(I had questions before my purchase) & they were very polite. I understood them very well, even w/ their accents. I am not very ‘gifted' at setting up/using electronic devices so I was quite happy that the phone was set up in about 10 minutes. I needed to call C.S. re: getting my ‘bluetooth' connected to the phone. Actually, when she had me on a ‘short' hold, I got out the booklet & quickly read the directions & actually figured it out. The sound is sooooo clear & crisp. It even sounds better than my land-line. I purchased the LG220c to start with…no camera, but it's a great little (literally) phone! I've been agonizing over which phone service to get & even got Verizon for a ‘trial' period. It was too expensive & the option of changing minutes 3 x's in a pay period just was too complicated for me. I returned their phone today. I also had ‘Boost' for a few months. My friends were asking me what does it mean when the message says ‘PLEASE WAIT UNTIL YOUR PARTY IS LOCATED.' I found out that they can only have a certain # of users at a time & sometimes too many are using the system & it gets overloaded. I just loved my i465 Moto phone, but not the service. I almost got T-Mobile, but was leary when I checked w/ the BBB & saw that they had an ‘F' rating. Yikes! Things can get so complicated these days. S.T. has a simple plan, just like the ‘good old' days. No taxes, sur-charges, connection fees or whatever they can conjure up to charge you… Just $30 or $45/month. I understand that sometimes life can be challenging, but I think some of the reviewers didn't give this a chance. The company wants to keep costs down so they hire foreigners in C.S. If you want everything to run smoothly & want to talk w/ a person whose 1st language is English, then go to the best & pay top dollar. I couldn't be happier & highly recommend Straight Talk! I know I'm going to be very happy using this service…
