TracFone is run by the same company that owns Straight Talk, Net10 Wireless and several others, so you should expect the same level of customer service as you would with those companies. I have read quite a few negative reviews of their customer service associates and have had some issues with them myself. However, if you're willing to put up with it, TracFone does offer some good deals and decent coverage.
