2015 Moto G Comes to US Celluar
August 31, 2015/
Motorola has really stepped up its game here recently first with the line of excellent Moto devices from last year and now with the 2015 versions of its devices, most of which are being sold unlocked directly through Motorola. However, if you’re not comfortable messing with an unlocked device, then US Cellular is one of the few carriers to actually carry the 2015 Moto G and it’s been discounted a bit as well.
Compared to last year’s model, the 2015 Moto G has been upgraded quite a bit with a better camera, the newest version of Android, and, most importantly, 4G connectivity that the older version lacked. The device has some pretty good specs for the price point. You can check out the specs here.
The 3rd Generation Moto G is available from US Cellular for $130, a slight discount from the $180 price point if you get it directly from Motorola. However, there are some catches. While this year’s Moto G is compatible with the Moto Maker, which allows users to design the phone’s colors and look however they wish, the US Cellular version is not and comes in a standard black. Backs can be purchased separately, however. If you’re interested you can check it out here.
US Cellular is offering the device for both prepaid and postpaid accounts. The company has four prepaid plan options ranging from $40 – $65 depending on how much data you need. All plans come with unlimited talk and text. For more information on US Cellular’s plans, services or coverage, visit the US Cellular website.]]>
