PTel Promotions Offer Free Phones, Service

T-Mobile has a reasonable number of MVNOs, and one of the better-known ones is PTel, formerly called Platinum Tel. As it turns out, this little MVNO has a couple of pretty nice deals running that could land you with a simple free phone, a month’s free service or both! Here are the two promotions:

Get a free phone when you purchase a $5 SIM card and buy one month’s worth of PTel’s unlimited services costing $20, $35, $40, $50 or $60. The list of phones that you can get for free is limited and none of them are all that fantastic. However, for free you really can’t complain, and it would be excellent for someone who wasn’t really much of a phone user. This promotion is only available for a limited time.

Port your number from select carriers and get the second month free. This offer is available for just about anyone who is not a T-Mobile customer. To get the second month free, customers must purchase a SIM card and buy one month of service costing $35 or higher. Carriers included in this incentive include AT&T, Boost Mobile, Cricket, Sprint, Verizon, Virgin Mobile, Kajeet, Red Pocket Mobile and more. This promotion can be combined with other offers, such as the one above.
