Boost Adds New Phones to Lineup
July 30, 2015/
Sprint’s Boost Mobile announced yesterday that it has added two new devices to its lineup including the Alcatel OneTouch Conquest and Elevate. Both low-cost devices have budget specs but the Conquest (shown above) is the one that really caught my attention with high ratings against water and dust for people with more active lifestyles.
Full specs aren’t available for both devices at this moment, but they do both have some features including Android Lollipop OS, a 5 MP back camera, a 2 MP front camera and LTE support for faster speeds. The main draw for the Conquest has to be the IP 67 rating, which means the phone is protected against dust and can be submerged in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes without any adverse effects.
The Elevate, by contrast, is a far more standard device and has pretty much all of the specs you’d expect from a budget entry-level device. Of the two, the Elevate has a smaller screen at 4.5 inches that may appeal to customers looking for a smaller one-handed device.
The Conquest is available from Boost Mobile right now and retails for $129.99. The device will also be available from Best Buy sometime soon. The Elevate is expected to retail for $99.99 and will be available in August.
Boost Mobile runs on Sprint’s network and has a handful of plan options ranging from $35 – $55. BYOD is supported for Sprint devices or customers can purchase a new device from Boost. For more information on Boost Mobile plans, services and phones visit Boost Mobile’s website.]]>
