Boost debuts the Motorola i776

Boost Mobile. According to a premature listing on Target’s website, we found out about the Motorola i776. There wasn’t much information beyond the fact that it was coming soon, however. The phone is now available, and we have some further information on it, in case you weren’t able to dig any up at the time.

It has a VGA camera, GPS, MMS capability, and access to instant messengers like AIM, Yahoo, and MSN. It has Web access, too, with walkie-talkie capabilities. It’s being billed as Boost’s smallest flip phone. You can check it out at Boost Mobile’s website.]]>

This phone is whack. If you download ringtones, they end up in the mp3 center and can’t be played. It drops calls one after the other even in a great signal area. There is no alarm clock. The wallpapers are gross. The ringtones on the phone, a Boost specification, are gross, shrill and something out of the 1980s. Not worth the price, and customer service at Boost is less than mediocre. And if you need tech support, expect to wait about 1 1/2 hours or more. What a joke. I could list a whole lot more that is wrong with both the phone and Boost. Not a happy customer after less than 24 hours of both owning this phone and being a customer.

This phone is great!! It’s the Boost service that sort of sucks. I can check my Mypace, sign into AIM, text, and the pictures turn out GREAT!! I do like this phone, its just Boost Mobile that needs some more quality in their company. I’m sure everyone knows that Boost is quite new, so give them a break!! My experience with them keeps getting better.

Love the phone! GREAT customer service! Had MetroPcs and could NEVER get a human on the phone!! Called boost a couple of times when porting my number over and they were a GREAT help! And guess what? THEY SPEACH ENGLISH!!! If you are just switching over keep this in mind, you current carrier DON’T WANT TO LOSE YOU. With that in mind they are going to do whatever it takes to cause a problem and make it look like a problem on boostmobiles side. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE PHONE AND THE SERVICE AT BOOSTMOBILE! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK BOOST!!!

first of all i would like to say i loved the purple i776 when i found it however everywhere was sold out! i ordered one from amazon and i loved it at first! then i realized the camera sucks! pics are always dark unless your outside and its very sunny! then after a month for no reason it started shutting off for NO REASON! i called motorola and they told me i have to fill some shit out online and then send it out and it would take 7-10 business days! went to the site and its all bullshit! VERY unhappy with them right now! paid $150 for a damn phone i cant use! and someone else just got the brand new one and they had it for 3 days and now cant do NOTHING but take pics! i wont be with boost for long if something dont change

I just have to say this, you are paying $50 a month for unlimited everything, and you are complaining. I have been with boost for 3 months, have never had a problem with customer service or talking to a real person, and the service is no different than nextel or sprint, which we used to be customers with. And for the same exact service that we get now for $50.00 we were pay almost $200.00 so why complain you didn’t sign a contract and worst case you have a phone you have paid for that you will never use again. I happen to think Boost is a great company and the service is par for the course, but what did you really expect?

I have had this phone since May 09. It is crap. It has been shutting itself off since the end of June. I don’t get service in my home..even when next to a window. I am unhappy with this phone and Boost. I am going back to Cricket. Waiting on the FedEx man right now for my new Cricket phone.

i have been with boost for almost a year. i live in the country and for me to get service out here where there are no cell towers is great. i do get some dropped calls but to get 50 bucks a month unlimited talk and it not costing me an arm and a leg is great. the phones do need some work but its a electronic. ALL ELECTRONICS NEED SOME SORT OF WORK ON THEM. NOTHING IS PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!
