Motorola i856 clears FCC, could be headed for Boost
June 18, 2009/
It looks like yet another phone is headed for Boost Mobile to compliment their lineup. This is the Motorola i856, a music-playing slider phone. It’s not quite as neat as the Stature i9 and it doesn’t have the QWERTY keyboard of the Clutch i465, but this one should do well for those who want a simple phone that can play some tunes. We first heard of ht i856 a while back, and now it looks all but ready for Boost. It features a 2.2-inch display, 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, and microSD expansion. ]]>

What’s the update on this phone? I’ve got boost and I want this phone. I love slide phones
😀
Boost and motorola do not have a clue. I give them credit for having a 2.2 qvga screen on this phone. But I bet this phone will not have no internal memory, full browser, opera mini, flash, 20 key sure type keyboard. You know, all of the things people would need on their phone to enjoy their $50 a month unlimited web, text, call plan.
oh just want a phone that supports text and will give me good signal werever i go because i just switched from tmobile and they sucked
the 856 has the same specs browser wise and everything else as all other boost phones im fairly sure the firmware is the same also
