Boost launches QWERTY Motorola i465

We’ve been hearing a lot about this phone lately, and have been awaiting its release. It’s the Motorola Clutch i465, and it’s now available from Boost Mobile. This is Boost’s first full QWERTY phone, and unlike others of its ilk it’s not really wider than a normal candybar. A bit, of course, but not a ton. So they’ve really crammed that thing in there. Other features include Push to Talk, Bluetooth, and a VGA camera. It costs $129.99, and you can get it at Boost’s website.]]>

When you are the last person to get into the dance, then you should be able to get the steps right. VGA camera with a Wap Browser. Are you kidding me. How about opera mini, and 1.3 for the camera with a good lens.

Bought this phone a few days ago too bad I didnt do my research on the phone! This thing is horrible user interface is horrible and there web access is a joke(think back when you had your first phone that went on the net thats how it looks like) Boost and Sprint(nextel) should pull this phone. I dont have one nice thing to say about it except that its rugged. Whatever you do dont get this phone I have never been more unhappy with a phone. To actually get a decent web interface I had to download opera(which was no easy feat having to go to ten different websites) and also download Life in Pocket. The only thing good about there service is the unlimited plan. This phone is being returned today I never want to see it again. I never hated a phone so much in my life.

Um, does anybody know about a qwerty prepaid phone?

I can’t understand how they advertise ‘unlimited internet’ and the ‘browser’ is akin to the video game Pong from the 80’s! Compare Pong to X-Box. That would be a fair comparison of this phone’s internet capabilities to ANY other internet phone on the market. Boost go these because the other companies rejected them (i465) as inferior product that wouldn’t sell.

um, this phone sucks. i have it and i’m not happy with it. i’m about fed up with it. i text a lot and it just wont cooperate. i don’t even receive most of the texts sent to me. and sometimes it shuts itself off. i’m definitely getting the new virgin mobile rumor 2. i heard its good. and i’m pretty sure its better than the clutch.

I just got it and it sucks. Hard to txt or enter numbers. Small screen. Battery SUCKS the most. Drains battery life quickly or needs to be recharged every single night. Not happy with it. I was very excited but BIG disappointment. Don’t buy the Moto Clutch.

I don’t like my clutch phone at all. I had better features on my $20.00 phone ( you know the one you see at the cashier stand in the dollar store. I give it two thumbs down.

since every body is badmouthing this great little phone, i’ll give it two thumbs up.
    And here’s why.
    1. The phone has a full keyboard, and i have big dang hands. can type full emails and other stuff real fast after i got used to it.
    2. Direct connect. Great when i’m out and loose my fiance in the mall. Push the button and we’re connected. faster than any other communication.
    3. UNLIMITED. 50.00 a month, and no worries about roaming, calling areas or time. I was paying that for another service and only got 450 a month. and no text or data.
    4. Yes the data service is bad(as is most prepaid) but for checking email(I have 6 email accounts, so you can imagine) its fine.
    5. Bluetooth. Yeah a lot of phone have that, but its definitely a selling point for me.
    6. Battery life. About 2-3 hours talk, with bluetooth on. Hence, get a second battery, a car charger, and maybe even get an emergency charger. I have all three, so i never worry about my phone going out on me.
so stop being a bunch of winers, and try doing some research first, and as far as the service, don’t blame the phone if the service stinks in your opinion, try blaming the service.
And yes i’ve tried most. Keep going back to motorola phones, and nextel(boost). like the service, am well aware of the limitations(as all services have) and enjoy the phone.
And for 80.00 for a full keyboard, not a bad price either(bought mine used on ebay for 50, with spare battery, 2 chargers, and data cable, awesome condition).
So figure it out, try a service, if you don’t like it cancel and move on.

this phone is good but it sucks for taking photos and videos im dark places. i wud totally recommend the samsung rant. its 119.99 with taxes its 128.39. its totally worth it. if not satisfied with boost mobile switch to metropcs. at least u dont have to buy ringtones and if u do its the whole song.
