Cricket Adds Canadian Calling
April 21, 2015/
The trend of including unlimited or low-price international calling with higher-priced plans continues this week with Cricket Wireless. This AT&T prepaid brand quietly made a change to its $50 and $60 monthly plans to include unlimited calls, texts and MMS messages to most of Canada.
This service is automatically included on all plans for no additional fee. These two plans also include unlimited calling and messaging within the United States and Mexico. I’m not 100% sure exactly when Cricket added Canada to the list, as I only saw the news on Prepaid Phone News this morning, but it should be included with your next monthly renewal.
According to Cricket’s website, the free international calling does not include the Northwest Territories of Canada. Calls must be made from within the United States, Puerto Rico or the Virgin Islands in order to be free. You can read the full Terms and Conditions or visit Cricket Wireless’ website for more information.
