The next Nexus phone is expected to be a phablet, shown here on the left.

If there’s one thing the internet loves more than new technology, it has to be rumors
about new technology. So, today, I have some details on the rumored Nexus phablet from Motorola. Of course, I am certain that I don’t have to say that these are only rumors
and nothing is solid yet. But… here’s what Gizmodo and a few other corners of the internet are saying:
First, images leaked by Michael Sudol on the XDA forums
(shown above) show a prototype of what many think is the new Nexus phone (possibly called Nexus 6 or Nexus X), which is said to have a 5.92 inch screen and looks pretty similar to the popular Moto X. Many sites are talking about how ‘gigantic’ and ‘huge’ that is, but I can’t help but think of several other phones that beat that, such as the Nokia Lumia 1520 (6 inch screen) the Samsung Galaxy Mega (6.3 inch screen) or the Sony Xperia Z Ultra (6.4 inch screen). Still, it’s pretty big. I mean, they nicknamed it “Shamu” after all.
is claiming that the device will be launched in mid-October and released in November with a 1440p display, 3GB of RAM, 32 GB internal storage and the new Snapdragon 805 processor. But again, that’s just the rumor. Several other specs have been leaked
, and it certainly looks like a pretty solid device. Of course, the rumors on the iPhone 6 were pretty cool too and many of them, such as the sapphire glass screen, didn’t pan out.]]>
