MetroPCS Debuts Fierce 2 with Discount

fierce 2

I’m not sure how I missed it, but MetroPCS has finally debuted Alcatel’s OneTouch Fierce 2 as of last week. T-Mobile postpaid got the phone last month, but this will make the first transition to prepaid for this affordable entry level phone. The OneTouch Fierce normally retails for $150, but MetroPCS is currently running a deal where customers can get the phone for $50. This phone is 4G ready and comes with a travel charger right in the case. The phone doesn’t wow too much as far as technical specs goes:
  • Android 4.4 KitKat
  • 5 inch screen (220 ppi)
  • 5 MP back camera
  • 0.3 MP front camera
  • 1200 MHz quad-core processor
  • 6-9 hr estimated talk time/14 day standby
  • 1GB RAM
  • 4 GB memory
  • microSD card slot
  • GPS
While the phone certainly isn’t going to wow anyone, for around the same price as a monthly contract, you can have a working Android smartphone that runs on T-mobile’s network. Not half bad. There wasn’t an end date on the deal listed, but it has been running for a week already. To check out MetroPCS plan options, click here.]]>
