We first learned about the Huawei M228 in November, but had yet to see it available. It’s a very basic device, featuring Bluetooth and little else. We previously saw the LG Helix when Cricket added it in October. It features a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, and Voice Clarity, which can aid when talking in a noisy area. You can get the Helix for $89, minus a $25 mail-in rebate, so $64. The Huawei M228 costs $59, but also has a $25 mail-in rebate, bringing the temporary price to $34.
