BYO Wireless Offers Free SIMs, 1/2 Off First Month
March 20, 2015/
BYO Wireless, a dual MVNO that offers service through Verizon’s CDMA and T-Mobile’s GSM networks, has launched a new promotion recently that could land you with a pretty sweet deal. With the promo code FIFTYOFF you can get, you guessed it, 50% off of your first month of service. And, for customers signing up for the GSM network (powered by T-Mobile) you could even get a free SIM card.
The website doesn’t actually list any kind of end date, but I would suspect it will be going at least through the end of the month. In order to get the half off, you will have to use the promo code at checkout. The free SIM card offer is only available for GSM phones activated on BYO Wireless.
BYO offers a range of prepaid plans which start at $5 per month. Pay-as-you-go is not offered, but there are several top-up options if you are running low one month. Customers who sign up for the AutoRenew program can get double the data for the same price.
Here’s what the plan lineup looks like:
- $5 – 100 minutes, 100 texts, 20 MB
- $10 – 250 minutes, 250 texts, 50 MB
- $15 – 350 minutes, unlimited texts, 100 MB
- $20 – 500 minutes, unlimited texts, 500 MB
- $35 – 1000 minutes, unlimited texts, 1 GB
- $55 – unlimited minutes and texts, 3 GB
- $70 – unlimited minutes and texts, 5 GB
