Giv Mobile, one of the two MVNOs that donate to charity with each monthly payment, recently slashed prices on two of its top tier plans and added data to the lower-priced plans. While not the cheapest available, Giv’s plans are far more competitive now and pretty well reflect the options offered by parent company PTel.
Here are what the
plans look like right now:
- $20 – unlimited talk and text, 250 MB low speed (formerly 150 MB)
- $25 – unlimited talk and text, unlimited low speed
- $35 – unlimited talk and text, 1 GB LTE (formerly 500 MB)
- $40 – unlimited talk and text, 2 GB LTE (formerly cost $45)
- $60 – unlimited talk and text, 4 GB LTE (formerly cost $65)
Giv Mobile runs on T-Mobile’s network and since its launch in 2013, the company has donated more than $125,000 to various charities. When customers sign up with Giv, they can choose from a list of more than 35 charities. Then every month, Giv will donate 8% of your monthly bill to the charity of choice.
