Introducing Envie Mobile

envie

Today I wanted to take a moment and talk about a newcomer to the MVNO market, Envie Mobile. Owned by AT&T MVNO H2O Wireless, this mobile company uses Verizon’s prepaid network instead of AT&T. They don’t offer any 4G options, unfortunately, but their prices are pretty competitive. Plan options include:
 • $25 – 500 minutes, unlimited text, 500 MB data, $5 international credit
 • $35 – Unlimited talk, text, 500 MB of data, $10 international credit
 • $45 – Unlimited talk, text, 2 GB data (throttled after 1 GB), $20 international credit
 • $55 – Unlimited talk, text, 3 Gb of data (throttled after 2 GB), $20 international credit
All four plans expire in 30 days, but you can top-up with additional funds if you run out before the end of the month. As far as phones go, Envie offers only three phones through their website: iPhone 4 (black or white) for $199, and two low-end androids for around $85. You can also bring your own clean-ESN, non-LTE Verizon phone, provided it is compatible. For more information, check out Envie’s website.]]>
