InfoSonics’ brand VeryKool has released their first LTE smartphone, the SL5000 nicknamed “Quantum.” The phone is GSM and CDMA compatible and can be purchased unlocked from their site for $229.80. They also offer payment plans through PayPal credit.
The phone itself has some pretty decent specs for the price. I haven’t seen any official announcements about deals with any specific carrier for the moment, but that might be coming soon.
The specs for the phone are:

- 5 inch capacitive touchscreen (480×854 pixels) with tempered glass
- 1 GB RAM, 4 GB ROM
- microSD slot
- 8 MP rear camera, 2 MP front camera
