One of the smaller MVNO’s,
EcoMobile, recently
changed its plan lineup. The company previously offered 3 different plans, with talk and text points that could be added up and converted to additional data. It seems that now Ecomobile has decided to go with a more traditional style of plans as well as increase the options.
The Plans
All plans feature unlimited international talk, text, and data with limited high speed data.Let’s take a look:
- $30/month — 1 GB high speed data
- $40/month — 3 GB high speed data
- $50/month — 5 GB high speed data
- $60/month — 7 GB high speed data
As you can see, all of the plans include unlimited international calling (to more than 80 countries) as well as unlimited data, with varying amounts at high speeds. While this definitely isn’t the lowest pricing I have seen, I think the company is still competitive—especially when you consider the other features.
Other Features
EcoMobile offers pay as you go options as well, running at $.05 per minute/text or $.10 per MMS/MB. Additionally, pretty much any device can be activated on EcoMobile as the company operates on Sprint’s, T-Mobile’s, and Verizon’s network. This also provides high-quality coverage. SIM cards are available on EcoMobile’s website from $9.99 – $14.99. The company also has some refurbished phones available for purchase on its website.
